They call me the "cat whisperer."
My family has what I call the "pet gene," and they call me the "cat whisperer." I've been a compassionate animal caretaker for most of my life. When I was about ten years old, I raised two puppies that had been abandoned at a fire station where my uncle worked. We fed them with a toy baby bottle until we could get to a vet (this was a rural area before 24-hour clinics). I named them Laverne and Shirley. In my graduate work, I focused on human and animal studies, particularly representations of human and animal communication in literature. It was a fascinating rabbit hole. With a lifetime of taking care of pets and previous pet sitting experience in the Seattle area, you can depend on me to give your pets the kind and compassionate care they deserve. NO leash reactive dogs, please.

Safety, trust & environment
I am available for drop ins and overnights in your home. In addition to attending to food, water, litter box, walks etc., I always take the time to play with your pet and engage with them if they want. I'd be more than happy to water plants and collect mail if needed. No leash reactive dogs, please.

Dana took excellent care of our two kitties while we were out of town for the week! They took to her immediately, even our more shy Gravy. They left her a mess one day after discovering a new party trick in our absence (knocking plants off the fridge), which she cleaned up, repotted, and secured away in a closed off room. Hopefully she is available next time we’re away! Thanks Dana!!
Dana was great with Jabali. I am sure he was looking for her when we got home. She was attentive to plants and the rest of the house as well. Excellent house sitter.

Dana was an absolutely phenomenal sitter for my four cats! Leaving a multi-cat household can be stressful, but she provided complete peace of mind from day one. Dana was incredibly attentive and communicative, sending me a ton of wonderful photos and detailed updates so I never had to wonder how my cats were doing while I was away. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the animals she watches and goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy and comfortable. I couldn't recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and loving pet sitter!
