Safety, trust & environment

I know how hard it is to leave your fur baby and can make sure your pet is loved and safe while you are out. I literally love all the pets.

Information Dana L. would like to know about your pet

I need to know your animals history. What is he scared of? How does he react to seeing children or other animals while out walking. Most things won’t rule out walks but I do need to be prepared to keep your pet and other safe. As someone who has as much experience as I do I am able to handle some pets that others would find too difficult.

A typical day

I love letting dogs interact with nature. If your dog isn’t a good walker, I can usually improve their behavior on walks by teaching them how to stay calm and not pull. I always make sure to give them some time during the walk to sniff whatever they want and be silly. I explain to them which time is for walking and which time is for playing and you can tell me the terms you use if you have already trained them. I am very good at reading animal body language from working at animal hospitals for so many years. I will also be cautious about pavement temperature. I know the signs to look for of overheating. I can spot a dog who needs help and will keep your pet safe.

Dana was great! My shy dog and bashful cat even warmed up to her. Wonderful experience!

Dana has a passion for animals and is the most kind and caring care giver to all animals that cross her path. She is very responsible and has a deep knowledge of different breeds and is very knowledgable in many areas of animal care and wellbeing. She would be a great asset to anyone looking for care for their 4-legged family member.
