Responsible dog-loving enthusiast!
I grew up with a rescue dog, raising him from a puppy all the way through his life. This came with challenges due to his background, and he required a lot of extra care and training. I am very used to puppies or dogs that may be extra energetic or need extra attention. I am still surrounded my family members' dogs, and I have housesat for other dogs in the past as well for weeks at a time. I thoroughly enjoy playing with them and helping out when I can. Although I don't have a dog myself right now, I will always take an opportunity to hang out with a dog while helping the owner out as well!

Dana was awesome! Excellent communication, very flexible with drop off and pickup, and took great care of our dog. Would highly recommend her to anyone. We are thankful for her kindness, helpfulness, and just her overall friendly demeanor. She also sent daily photo updates. 5 stars all around!

Dana stayed at out rental house with my dog Bohdi and my friend’s dog Jagger while we were on vacation in Breckinridge and wanted to go out for shopping and dinner without the dogs. She was great with the boys, including mine who takes a minute to warm up to new people. She was very good at communicating when scheduling and confirming plans. Would highly recommend her. Bohdi and Jagger say thanks for taking care of us, Ms. Dana!
Dana was wonderful with my dog! She pet sit for me while I was on vacation, and provided excellent care including lots of walks and cuddles. My dog had some old allergies come back up that Dana contacted me immediately about, and followed my instructions perfectly to provide care, including administering some pills. Would highly recommend Dana for all of your pet-walking & pet-sitting needs!

Schedule
I currently work a full time job, but my hours are flexible, so I have some time before/during/after work. I also get an hour break in the middle of my day, which is a great time to take a dog for a walk or stop by and let the dog out. Weekdays are best, but I am usually around on weekends as well.

Safety, trust & environment
I don't currently have any pets, but when I had a dog we had an electric fence and were able to let him out to run freely. I am used to walking dogs on leashes, but happy to let them off leash or take to the dog park at the owner's discretion. I always discuss with the owner what toys the dog is allowed to have, how much to feed them, how often they should be let out, how many walks a day, how they act with other dogs, and overall care in the home.
A typical day
I love to make sure that dogs are getting out all of their energy, whether that's throwing a ball, taking them for walks, or bringing them to a dog park.
