Pet care fits very naturally into my weekly routine. I work primarily remote with reliable WiFi, but also must visit the office for only a couple of hours a day, 3 days per week. Working remotely allows me to provide consistent attention, walks, feedings, and companionship throughout the day. I also have a flexible part-time job with shifts up to four hours (up to five hours total including travel time). However, my schedule is adjustable, and I’m usually able to move or release shifts when needed — especially for pets who require more frequent care. I’m mindful of how long pets are left alone and plan my schedule carefully to prioritize their comfort and routine.

Before a booking, I like to learn as much as possible about your pet’s routine and personality. Please let me know about any medications, health conditions, dietary restrictions, or special care needs so I can follow instructions closely. I also appreciate knowing about any unique quirks, anxieties, triggers, or habits (for example: food guarding, fear of storms, etc.). If your pet has shown any aggressive tendencies toward people or other animals, it’s important that I’m aware ahead of time so I can take the proper precautions and ensure everyone’s safety. The more details you share, the better I can provide consistent, personalized care.

A typical day starts with maintaining your pet’s normal routine — morning potty breaks or litter care, fresh food and water, and one-on-one attention to start the day off right. For dogs, this usually includes walks tailored to their energy level, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. For cats, I focus on interactive play, brushing (if they enjoy it), and calm company so they feel secure. I like to mix activity with downtime, making sure pets get both mental stimulation and rest. Whether it’s a longer walk, puzzle toys, gentle play, or simply relaxing nearby while I work, my goal is to keep them comfortable, engaged, and following their usual routine. You can also expect regular updates and cute photos and videos so you can see how their day is going.

Dana was absolutely amazing and took such wonderful care of my senior dog, Riley, over the weekend! She provided frequent updates which gave me total peace of mind. I couldn't have asked for a more attentive or professional sitter and will definitely be booking with her again!
Dana is our absolute favorite dog sitter. She is prompt, kind, loving, trusting, and extremely responsible and respectful. She is worth every penny and I often overpay because of how happy we are with her services. She provides updates, pictures, and is extremely gracious with our high maintenance dogs. One is very old and the other has behavior issues and they both take medications at different times and it can be complicated. We are always relieved when Dana can watch them because it’s hard to find someone we trust with all of their issues. I cannot recommend her enough!
I used Dana for overnight pet/ house sitting over the holidays, the entire process was seamless and positive. The communication from scheduling all the way through her stay was top tier. She took extra time beforehand to stop by and meet my dogs and learn their routines. Throughout her stay, Dana provided periodic updates and photos - which gave me peace of mind. Upon my return home, my dogs seemed very happy and well taken care of. I have no doubt that my dogs would be happy with her staying again!!
I truly can’t recommend Dana enough. She’s the absolute best and always provides plenty of updates and pictures, which is so reassuring for an anxious dog mom like myself. I had only ever left my dog with family before, but after meeting Dana last year I immediately felt comfortable trusting her ~ honestly, I now prefer leaving my pup with her over family. 😂💕My dog is 11 years old, blind, and takes multiple medications and supplements, and Dana is amazing about staying on top of his routine. He sometimes struggles getting around at night, but she is incredibly patient, attentive, and kind with him. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands.
