Welcome to the Dog House — Where Your Pup Feels Right at Home! Hi, I’m Dana! I’ve been boarding dogs for over six years and working with basic obedience and socialization during that time. What started as a lifelong love for animals has grown into a passion for providing a safe, calm, and loving environment for dogs of all kinds. Before launching my dog boarding business, I spent years as a veterinary technician and volunteered extensively with humane societies during high school and college. I often worked with dogs who were considered “difficult to adopt” — usually due to anxiety or behavioral issues related to the stress of shelter life. Those early experiences shaped the thoughtful, individualized care I bring to every dog I meet. This journey has also been deeply personal. I’ve said goodbye to my beloved German Shepherd, Beast (15), and my Husky/Malamute, Echo (14), both of whom taught me patience, trust, and the deep bond we share with our animals. About Boarding at My Home: I share my home with my 6-year-old son — a certified snuggler and dog lover — and we treat every dog like part of the family. I’m also a full-time realtor, which allows me the flexibility to be home most of the day. When I do step out, I always ensure dogs are safely separated for their comfort and safety. Dogs are fed separately, and playtime is fully supervised I follow your routines to keep things consistent (furniture rules, crate use, feeding schedules, etc.) I’m experienced with administering medications — including injections Fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time Clean, comfortable space with plenty of love and attention Every dog has their own personality and needs, and I’m here to honor that.
