I am retired, so I have plenty of time to play with and care for your pup. I am here with your dog most of the time, with them able to roam freely in my house when I am home, but may need to confine them in my dog room if I need to be gone briefly for an appointment or to the store.

Do they sleep through the night? Do they have any allergies? Are they updated with their vaccinations? Do they suffer from separation anxiety? Are they 'jumpers'-as in over fences? Do they have specific words for obedience? (ex. 'elbows' instead of lay down.)
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I will take your dog on walks around our neighborhood. We have a 1.5 mile loop that has very little traffic and is very scenic with views of Mount Rainier and Lake Tapps. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Small dogs will sleep in your crate in our house. Large dogs will sleep in a crate in our house. Time I'll spend with your dog I have no children at home, so I plan on spending the majority of the day with your dog, giving them plenty of loving attention.

Hi, my name is Dana Hettman and I am a life-long animal lover and dog owner. My husband, Ken and I currently have one dog of our own, Finnegan, a long haired black and tan mini dachshund. We have had 7 dachshunds since we were married 40 years ago, and my parents bred dachshunds while I was growing up. Our home is completely fenced with a large yard, and since my husband has a silk screening business here, there is someone at our residence at all times. I drove a school bus, but retired as of May 2021, so have plenty of free time to give most of my attention to your precious pup. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all my life, with my parents breeding and showing dachshunds at one point! My husband and I have had 7 dachshunds and one sheepdog in the 35 years that we have been married. About my yard We have a large, completely fenced in yard. Our house sets in the center of the lot, so there is plenty of yard in the back and the front of the house. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication, as long as there is detailed instructions. I retired from school bus driving, as of May 2021, and have plenty of time to care for your dog, and their needs. (as long as I am not already booked up.) I have a large, fully fenced yard, (a sort of private dog park!), that they can roam, run, play and explore in. And I can easily crate dogs if needed.....
