A TYPICAL DAY 🦴 What to Bring Please bring your dog on a LEASH attached to a collar or harness. If you have an “escape artist,”please let me know in advance and I will bring a training leash with me for added safety to/from the house. Please also bring your dog’s FOOD and MEDS along with written instructions. • I have PLENTY of bowls, beds, blankets, toys, etc., so it's best to leave your pup’s favorite things at home (or bring them at your own risk)! 🐕 Walks & Outdoor Time I don’t walk more than 2 guest dogs at once, and everyone MUST be on-leash at all times. I only walk around my quiet garden complex, away from street traffic and unfamiliar dogs. I do not take any of my guest dogs to dog parks under any circumstances. For most of the day, they will socialize, play, and nap between the yard and my attached studio space, where I spend most of my time. They can choose to go wherever they like during the day, including on the furniture/beds, however I do bring them inside the main house to sleep at night. 🐾 Helpful Hints Before a Stay I respond to all inquiries and booking requests as soon as they come in. If it’s your FIRST time contacting me, please do the following: • Make sure your dog’s profile is filled out completely (preferably with a recent picture) • Let me know whether your dog has gone to doggy daycare or boarding before and how it went • Disclose whether your dog has ever been aggressive (towards food, people, toys, space, etc.), destructive (chewing, scratching, breaking, etc.), or could be considered anxious. • Provide any details about your dog’s special needs or medication(s). • Note that I DON’T accept calls about bookings until the booking is officially confirmed. You may ask any questions via Rover’s message center and/or at our Meet & Greet! Thank you! 💁🏼♀️

Pet care experience
I am a professional pet sitter with a PhD in animal behavior (UCLA), 25+ years of experience, and over 500 five-star reviews ⭐️. I offer doggy daycare and overnight boarding in a calm, loving, fully insured space in Reseda, CA, and specialize in safe, structured care for dogs who thrive in a relaxed home-style environment. I am a full-time pet sitter that provides supervised play, frequent potty breaks, and individualized attention for every dog in my care. 🐾 Doggy Daycare and Boarding in a Calm, Supervised Home My doggy daycare and boarding are ideal for dogs who enjoy companionship without chaos. Dogs receive: • Supervised indoor & outdoor time • Structured play (no overcrowding) • Quiet rest breaks • Medication administration (if needed) • A clean, fully fenced yard I also limit the number of dogs I book to ensure safety, low stress, and personal attention. 🙋🏼♀️ Scheduled Meet & Greets and Behavioral Assessment Unless your dog has already had in-home daycare or boarding experience, I highly recommend scheduling a (free) Meet & Greet before a stay to make sure we’re a good fit. I will introduce you to my alpha Chihuahua, Francis, and we will go on a short walk where you can ask me anything you like. We’ll end up at my place, where your pup(s) will have the opportunity to explore on their own. I will introduce your pup to any of my other guest dogs during their stay, as they’d have undergone this behavioral assessment. 🐕 Dog Size For safety and harmony, I specialize in small to medium dogs and calm(er) personalities. I am also particularly adept in caring for SENIOR dogs and dogs with special needs, as my dog, Francis, is a senior, herself, and my dog, Bruce, has IVDD.

Dana is the best! She agreed to take Blue pretty last minute for a long vacation. As always, she sends pictures and videos every day and Blue always seems so happy!! I always feel good that Blue is safe and well looked after by someone who truly cares! Thank you, Dana!!!

Dana is great! She took such great care of our 17 years old pup and I’ll definitely choose her again.

Amazing experience, very responsive, takes great care of my dog!

My Zeus loved his stay with Dana. We did a trial stay and Zeus fit right in. Zeus came back relaxed and a happy pup. Will definitely be rebooking.
