I have been a dog mom and biologist for over ten years. I can stick to a schedule and you can trust me to stay on protocol. With my lab experience, I’m very attuned to animal behavior and I’m extremely committed to providing enrichment. I have taken lots of dog training courses and I love teaching puppies and older dogs alike fun new tricks to take home. I recently lost my senior dog with special needs so I am also comfortable with dogs that require more specialized care and have special diets or medications.

Schedule
I work from home about 50% of the week and have a very flexible schedule. My husband also works from home during the day so someone will always be near for your loved one. I love spending time at our neighborhoods community garden, in my back yard, and on the nearby glover archbold trail.

Safety, trust & environment
In my clients homes, I’ll send activities planned for your pet before our time together based on your needs and preferences. I also send updates and lots of photos so you’ll know exactly what your loved one is up to. I have an unfenced yard but do have a long leash/chain. Inside my home, there are baby gates to keep dogs safe in common areas and I have an X-Large crate which is optional for use during overnights and pre-approved nap times for puppies.
A typical day
I believe every pet is unique and that’s why I like to lay out my personalized plan for every pet parent before their stay. I personally have a couch potato that loves quiet cuddle time and puzzles. But I also love my energetic pups and can schedule longer and more interesting walks. For cats, play time and interaction can depend on their level of sociability but I strive to bring peace and comfort at each visit.
