🐾 Flexible, At-Home Pet Care Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to give your pets plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My flexible work schedule allows me to adjust my hours around your pets’ needs, whether they’re staying in their own home or boarding with me in my home. When your dog stays with me, they won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m able to provide plenty of companionship, potty breaks, playtime, walks, cuddles, and attention throughout the day, while still allowing them to relax and feel comfortable in a home environment. For pets I care for in your home, I can work around their normal routine and provide the individualized care they’re accustomed to. Whether your pet needs regular walks, medication, playtime, extra potty breaks, or simply someone nearby for companionship, my flexible schedule allows me to be there for them. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and well cared for—whether they’re staying in their own home or enjoying a stay at mine.❤️

I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs so they receive personalized care and plenty of love and attention. I’m experienced with administering both oral medications and injections, and I’m comfortable following specific instructions to help keep your pet’s routine consistent while you’re away. When I’m caring for your pets in your home, I’m also happy to help with the little things that give you extra peace of mind, including bringing in your mail, watering plants, taking out the garbage, and keeping your home looking lived-in. Most importantly, your pets will receive plenty of companionship, affection, playtime, and attention. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing your pets are being cared for with the same love and attention I would want for my own. ❤️

Please let me know about their daily routine, personality, likes and dislikes, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any behaviors or preferences that will help me make them feel comfortable and at home. It’s especially important to know about any special needs, medical conditions, medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, anxiety, mobility issues, or other concerns your pet may have. Please share any instructions or routines that are important to your fur baby’s care so I can accommodate them as best as possible. The more I know about your pet ahead of time, the better I can tailor their care and help them feel safe, happy, and loved while they’re in my care. ❤️🐾 My goal is to make your time away worry-free while giving your pet the same patience, attention, and love I would want for my own!

🐾 Fun, Personalized Care & Playtime I believe pets should have fun and feel loved while their families are away! I’ll take the time to learn what your pet enjoys most and plan activities around their personality, energy level, and comfort. For dogs, that might include walks, backyard play, games of fetch, tug-of-war, exploring, sniffing adventures, training games, and plenty of cuddles and belly rubs. For cats and other pets, I’ll provide playtime, enrichment, attention, and one-on-one interaction based on what they enjoy. If your pet prefers a slower pace, I’m just as happy to spend time relaxing together, giving them affection, or simply keeping them company. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine and respect their individual needs. Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs, my goal is to make their time away from you happy, comfortable, enriching, and full of love! ❤️🐾

I’m an experienced, compassionate pet sitter who truly believes every animal deserves to be treated like family. 🐾 I’ve been a pet owner my entire life and have spent the past 3 years working professionally as a pet sitter through an established pet-care company. I’ve cared for all kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, hamsters, snakes, skunks, and more. I absolutely love animals of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities—including exotic pets and farm animals! 🏡 Dog Boarding in My Home I offer boarding in my home for dogs under 40 pounds. Your dog will be welcomed into a loving, pet-friendly home where they’ll receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and cuddles. I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and six cats, so my home is truly an animal-loving environment. Because of my resident pets, I want to make sure every boarding guest is comfortable around other animals and is a good fit for our household. I’m happy to discuss your dog’s personality, routines, and needs ahead of time to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable stay. I have used many dog walkers and pet sitters over the years during my time in graduate school and my career in a major metropolitan area on the East Coast. Suffice to say I have seen everything from the very worst to the absolute best. Hands down Dana ranks among the best. She handles my medically complicated German Shepherd with such kindness and compassion that she is the first person outside of family that I have ever felt comfortable entrusting his care with long enough to actually leave town on a vacation. I never have to worry that I will get updates or that she will reach out if even the slightest thing seems off because she just pays attention. And in a world full of people who are constantly trying to impose themselves on dogs, she waited for my dog to invite her into his circle.
Dana was amazing with my two dogs and two cats! She is our go-to pet sitter whenever we are out of town. We often leave our pups with her while we’re out of town and our dogs get so excited to visit her (sometimes they don’t even want to come home!) She is very knowledgeable about animals, their behaviors and/or special needs. When our pets need special care like medications we know she’s able to help. She is someone you can truly trust to watch your fur-babies as if they are her own.
