I have a life time of experience with dogs. From being a owner to working in dog rescue. I love fostering a dogs and cats and have been doing so for the last 8 years. I find myself in semi-retirement (biologist) and am looking to care for some critters! I am currently not working and am available for a variety of days and hours. My time is flexable since i am semi-retirement from my biology career. I have a 1/4 acre of fenced in property in a rural setting. It is like being at a dog park! The house is dog friendly and I can provide a crate if the need is there.

Dana was great as always- helped me out with last minute care for Lena. She has a great backyard for playtime and always take care of Lena with love. Highly recommend!
Dana is responsive and accommodating. She provided photos and video during my pup’s stay and his special dietary needs were supported. He enjoyed socializing with the other dogs. Would definitely recommend and hope to book again!

According to my Rover history, we have now booked with Dana 18 (!!) times. As if that is not indication enough, I will add that we have been incredibly satisfied with the service and care she provides as a pet sitter. Communication is prompt and clear, drop-offs and pick-ups always smooth, and most of all she takes such excellent and loving care of our two dogs. They always have fun at Dana’s, and are fully tuckered out for a good 24 hours once we return home! 🙂 We have really grown to trust Dana so much, which is so important when leaving our pups in someone else’s care. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!

A typical day
I live in rural area. The yard is fenced in with plenty of balls and other things to play with! My dogs are used to having fosters to play with, so there is lots of running around in the yard. If you have an older dog then its probably more of a walk and lounging on the deck. All depends on the dogs likes!
