Hey, I’m Dana! 🐾 An Ohio University alum, I recently left a job in sales to work in digital marketing from home under my own LLC. When I’m not taking meetings, I am looking to fill my time caring for your furry friends! Stuck to no specific work schedule, flexibility is my specialty ⏰ EXPERIENCE: Proud dog mom to my 8-year-old miniature schnauzer/terrier mix, Delilah 🐶 I’ve owned animals my entire life and have felt a connection with them since before I could speak. I’ve spent 15+ years volunteering at animal shelters, walking dogs and looking after pets large and small. In the last two years, I’ve fostered this passion into an animal care and in-home boarding business that my husband and I find such joy and fulfillment in. I have worked with senior dogs 18+ as well as puppies as young as 9 weeks. I also have experience in (and continue to study) basic command training. Reactive? High-energy? Happy to help! WHAT TO EXPECT: Patient, loving care - no matter the service. I truly treat your pet like my own. I am big on communication and believe it’s key in a great care. I provide fun, anecdotal notes for your entertainment (and mine)! I have a knack for photography and guarantee quality photos each Rover card. *Boards can expect a nightly day-in-review! BOARDING: We currently take on 1-2 dogs (in addition to our own) at a time for a more personalized, in-home boarding experience. This ensures your pup gets all our time, toys, and hands-on attention! Twelve minutes from the CMH Airport, we live in a very walkable, suburban neighborhood with a yard and six-foot privacy fence, conveniently up the street from a VCA emergency animal hospital (for your peace of mind). We’re also minutes’ drive to Blendon Woods/Hoover Reservoir, ideal for fun day trips upon request! I currently stay at home with the pups throughout the day and will happily adapt to your pets’ schedules. I ensure daily walk(s) unless otherwise noted. We love boarding and enjoy getting to see our aging girl play like a puppy again!
