We both work from home and can accommodate pretty much all scheduled feedings, walks, and playtime. I work 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday. I can walk puppies all throughout the day, and they have access to my fenced in back yard.

Information Dana B. would like to know about your pet
While I do not have a breed preference, Your dog needs to get along with other, chill dogs, is good on a leash, is house trained, and not aggressive toward other people or animals (I also would prefer to have a dog that did not bark constantly). We have STRICT weight requirements … please be honest with how much your dog weighs. If they are bigger than our allowed weight, we may have to cancel your stay (this has happened before where we have allowed a 75lb pup only to find that they were actually overweight at 110lbs).
A typical day
We will go on walks in my super family-friendly, suburbia-like neighborhood. We will walk around the nearby park or go on a bike ride if your dog likes running. If your dog is with me for an extended period of time, we may go on leashes hikes if your dog likes that. If your dog needs a lot of exercise, We can probably tucker them out on a run or bike ride.

Pet care experience
Your dog will be treated like our dog children. They will sleep on the floor in our bedroom (in our dog beds or yours) and be given tons of love and affection. My cover photo is me (Dana) with some foster puppies through a local organization. We do not currently have any foster puppies. My husband and I both work from home and love dogs and are both very active. I love dog training and have always had animals around. I have a fenced-in backyard, live in an awesome, family-friendly neighborhood in the Hyland Greens area, and live next to an amazing park. We have two dogs of our own, Millie and Cooper. Millie is an energetic, playful, obedient, 11-year old labradoodle who is always looking to play. Cooper is a 12-year old, toy Australian shepherd — he keeps to himself, loves to cuddle, and is obsessed with playing fetch. I am very much a believer that dogs thrive in structured and positive environments. I absolutely love teaching dogs new tricks, so don't be surprised if he/she comes home knowing something new. There will be plenty of walks, playtime outside, trips to the park, and socializing with people. I live in a large home, with a fenced-in backyard, and hardwood floors throughout. Dogs do not sleep in beds but they are allowed on couches if you allow. We will adhere to any food restrictions and measurements and will provide treats as you allow!! We may have a couple dogs at a time here — and, I’ll be sure to ask how your dog gets along with other dogs. We introduce the pups slowly to each other!! 😊

Dana was fantastic! She often sent updates with photos about how well our pup was doing, which was always assuring. It was also evident that our dog totally fell in love with Dana!
Dana is great! My dog Miru did his happy squeak when he saw her which is always a good sign. Dana is responsive and provided both text and pictures updates of Miru throughout the entire Thanksgiving stay. Will definitely come back and hopefully before Thanksgiving next year! 😆
