I’ve cared for dogs and cats of different ages and temperaments, including senior pets and pets who need medication. I’m especially attentive to their individual routines, preferences, and personalities.I follow care instructions closely and keep owners updated so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands while they’re away. I love getting outside for walks and exploring new neighborhoods, but I’m equally happy spending time at home with a pet who prefers a quieter day.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and routine are my priorities. I follow your instructions carefully and take the time to understand your pet’s normal behavior, habits, and environment before you leave. For walks, I tailor the route and pace to the individual dog. I’m also happy to visit a nearby dog park when it’s something the owner and dog regularly enjoy. For overnight stays, I provide morning and evening care as well as a midday drop-in. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine for feeding, fresh water, medications, walks, potty breaks, litter boxes, and other pet-specific care discussed in advance. I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I manage basic tasks such as bringing in mail and packages, handling trash and recycling bins, watering plants or outdoor areas, and making sure the home is secure. I leave your home in as good or better condition than I found it, and appreciate arriving to a clean, orderly space. I communicate promptly with owners if I notice anything unusual or have questions about their pet’s care.

Dana was terrific - she came through on short notice due to an issue with our previously scheduled Rover. She was attentive and very detail oriented. She gave us frequent updates on Chester and very communicative.
Dana did a great job taking care of my girl while I had to have a procedure. She did great with LE and LE liked her straight away. I felt very comfortable knowing she was looking out for her.

Schedule
I work full-time in a hybrid setting, which gives me great flexibility during the week. I’m able to accommodate a variety of schedules with advance planning and am also available on weekends. I carefully coordinate my bookings around my work schedule and other pet-care commitments so I can reliably provide the visits, walks, and overnight care that we’ve discussed. For new clients, I generally limit initial overnight bookings to 2 nights so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. Once I’ve gotten to know you and your pets, overnight stays are generally available for up to 4 nights.

- The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them. Please tell me about their normal routine, feeding schedule, medications, exercise needs, quirks, fears, triggers, and anything they tend to get into or should avoid. I also appreciate knowing how your pet typically behaves when left alone, around other animals and people, and in unfamiliar situations. Honest information - both the good and the challenging - is helpful and allows me to provide the best possible care.
