I have 40 years experience caring for a wide variety of animals that includes cats, dogs, rodents, rabbits, snakes and ferrets and I have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 snake and 1 guinea pig of my own. I have 2 teenage children that are also pet lovers. I also have 5+ years fostering for Pierce County Humane Society in the past. Should you chose me to care for your pet, I will provide professional care and snuggles throughout their stay. Prior to caring for you pet we will discuss a customized plan of care depending on your pet's needs. Should I care for your pet in your home, I am conscientious, clean, and trustworthy. I look forward to caring for your pet. For pet stays in my home, proof of vaccines is required.

Dana was great with my two anxious little dogs. She kept me updated on how they were doing throughout the stay, and they did really well with her. I will for sure be using her again!

Dana was literally the best dog sitter anyone could ever have. I can’t rave enough about how amazing she and her family are. My dog had a spinal injury when she watched her and had to take many medications. Her beagle nose sniffed out the meds almost every time, but Dana was such a patient angel, she tried about 10 different things including cooking food (!!!!) to get our dog to take the meds. She carried her through the house so she wouldn’t slip on the hardwood portions and kept her activity restrictions to a T. You can tell how much she and her family love animals; she’ll probably care for your babies even better than you do! Seriously can’t sing her praises enough. Bring your animals to Dana, they won’t get better care anywhere else.
Dana has a GREAT boarding set up. 100% recommend for day and/or night boarding.
Dana does a great job taking care of my cat. I have used her services multiple times.
Daina and her family were so nice to our two labradors. I know that they can sometimes be a handful especially when they want to take all your socks out in the backyard. Dana was patient with them and they seemed very happy and healthy when we returned from our week long trip.

A typical day
I have a large, fenced backyard for playing. I also have a safe neighborhood to walk your pet. I live close to Fort Steilacoom park and am able to walk your dog there as well.
