We have been boarding dogs and puppies in our home since 2013. Your good boy or girl will spend time on the couch, play with our dogs to his/her comfort level, go for frequent walks, and have room to run in either the fenced yard or the snow and rain free horse riding arena for those more active dogs. All dogs must be up to date on shots. We are pet breeders with beautiful intact AKC registered Bernese Mountain Dogs. We are licensed annually by Lafayette County, the AKC, and the state of Wisconsin, ensuring the best care possible for your dog as well as our own. DATCP license number 488759. We offer one on one dog behavior classes by appointment only. Our Facilities: Your dog will primarily be inside where it can safely play with the group or have its space as it desires. To ensure safety of all pets, dogs are kenneled at night. Kennels are provided by us in a climate controlled area. Kennels are 25 to 30 square foot in size. All we need from you is enough food for your pet for the duration of its stay. Maintaining consistent diet helps avoid upset stomachs. Your dog will have plenty of interaction with both people and other canine friends. Our dogs are very much a part of our family and spend their time in our company. Our dogs are house trained and spend a majority of their time indoors with us. We are located on 14 acres conveniently on highway 23 between Mineral Point and Darlington. Dan was great to work with and I was very happy with the care my dog received.
Dan was very flexible with dropping off Toby and picking him up. He was available for a meet and greet (more for me then Toby-LOL), and I was super pleased with the environment that Toby was taken care of in. Clean environment and Toby appeared comfortable being there. I would recommend Dan to anybody who needed to have a dog sitter.
We needed last minute boarding and Dan accommodated. Communication was great and our pups were well cared for, making our first experience with boarding a good one. We happily recommend!

Schedule
I work from home, so there is almost always someone here. We have our dogs as well as boarding dogs, so cuddling with and caring for fluffs is a large part of what we do on any given day.

Safety, trust & environment
We've had a successful track record of handling even the most unruly of dogs, though our favorites are family pets. Rissa is a nurse with a b.s. in animal science, so you know your pet's health will be well attended to. We work with some of the best vets in the surrounding states, though we hope your dog will never need one while here. We like to have the dogs in the house at much as possible, but do have kennels for at night or separation. Kennels are 25 to 30 square foot outdoor style kennels, but are house indoors for climate control.

A typical day
Your pet will enjoy plenty of exercise with our playful and friendly dogs. There are toys and large bones throughout for playing. Dogs are walked by leash several times per day or more for puppies.
