Experienced dog walker and pet sitter
I've looked after pets all my life, including family pets such as cats and hamsters. I've looked after neighbours and family members pets too, such as cat sitting when they were away. I've also dog walked for neighbours and friends many times. I'm happy to do dog walking, and cat sitting and other pet sitting too, such as hamsters which I owned when younger and want to own again someday! I love taking dogs out on walks and can take multiple at once. I can take your dogs out in the car for longer walks or just do walks around the local park- whatever is needed. I can visit cats for feeding, changing litter, and love to give them lots of playtime and attention and lots of purring! I send photos so you can see your pets are happy and relaxed. I am very careful about safety with your pets, so will always ask all about their behaviours in or out of the house and any health/dietary needs, to ensure their time is fun and safe with me. I also have a pet first aid course training so know how to perform CPR and first aid to animals, and happy to show proof of certificate if required. I offer a free introductory visit/walk so I can learn about your pet's behaviours and any needs, with the owner present so that we are both well informed and happy with the arrangement. If dog walking I always go on an initial walk with the owner, to get familiar with the dog and learn about how best to walk them, and to ensure you are happy that they are in safe hands. If cat sitting I will come and let the cat get familiar with me and find out what they like and don't like. Looking forward to hearing from you and your pet soon. Dan

I own two outdoor trained cats which have a cat flap which leads into the garden rather than the road, to keep them safe. I can follow any instructions required when visiting owners homes, to help keep their pets safe, such as always keeping dogs on the lead when walking and learning their behaviours. Also learning whether cats I sit for are indoor or outdoor cats and finding out their behaviours, and any safety measures required to keep them safe and happy.

I couldn't have asked any more of Dan. He helped me out by coming a long way from where I live for a meet and greet. He was really caring and conscientious with Martha and followed any instructions. I will definitely use him again if he's free.

Dan walked our working cocker spaniel Elis once a week for 6 months. Dan was reliable and punctual and I was confident in his ability to look after and care for Elis.
Dan V used to walk my late dog Tika. I found him to be very trustworthy & he loved Tika, as if she was his own. He took great care to ensure she enjoyed her walks & to keep her safe. Dan has his own 2 cats & I have witnessed how well he cares for them. I am aware that Dan has done some pet sitting & I can vouch for his honesty & reliability. Dan is a very kind & caring person & will go that extra mile when caring for animals & birds.
Dan has looked after my two cats on multiple occasions. He is good at communicating, listening to my requests, quick replies and is great with the animals. Will book him again.

Schedule
I work part-time currently, flexible hours so I have time to visit homes for pet sitting or for dog walking, at various times of the day. I can do drop in visits 2x a day, but only if the location is within a mile, otherwise it must be 1x a day.

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours to be aware of, such as how they act around other dogs/breeds, and how they act around other people of different ages, and whether they have triggers which may scare them e.g. noises.
