Hi, I am Dan - I own & operate The Pup School, in The Peninsula. I am an expert dog trainer, specializing in Positive Reinforcement methods and teaching people how to best train their dogs for long-lasting healthy habits! I have been training, caring & dog-sitting for private clients for nearly 8 years. I believe that a dog’s happiness and health are directly tied to their experiences with good people, a good routine, and healthy interactions with other dogs and their environment. My dog is a 5 year-old Black Lab mix named Kal El, who is beyond friendly and is very well behaved. Kal loves having dog-friends over; whether we are playing, going on walks or exploring any of the area’s many local parks. I’ve had 4 amazing dogs throughout my life - A Black Lab, Belgian Shepard, a Golden Retriever and a Chihuahua mix). I am familiar and comfortable with handling and looking after large & small breeds with their differing needs. Every dog is an individual and while each breed has it’s characteristics, I hold the most important thing for a caretaker is to understand a specific pet’s needs.
