Pet care experience
Dogs love how fast I can walk
I have owned and cared for 4 dogs (1 lab, 2 beagles, 1 mutt), and 5 cats (3 orange tabby cats, 1 longhair black cat, 1 calico) in my lifetime, and I always play with the pet at the party. My favorite dog is the beagle and my favorite cat is orange but I love them all. I am available nearly every day and most evenings. I know how to quickly win over a pet with genuine display of empathy and affection. Knowing the spot to scratch also helps. I have very long legs and walk miles daily, so I can outwalk most dogs and keep up with them as they chase birds and mongoose. If they are not yet tired from the walk, I love playing tug-of-war afterwards. My life goal is to own a large yard, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and I am working towards that goal every day.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I only use leashes that are secure. I keep a tight grip on a leash and wrap it around my fist to be safe. I am good about checking and securing gates.
Ratings and reviews
Dan watches my 2 rambunctious Pitbulls and does an amazing job managing them! He takes them to a nearby park and works them out. It's a great relief to come home to 2 tired dogs. Will continue to work with dan!
Dan was an incredible sitter for my puppy. I was nervous about leaving my baby behind but I was required to leave for work. Once I saw Dan react with Plair, I knew he was the right choice. I received frequent updates (and adorable videos) and Dan not onlyf ollowed Plair's complicated schedule to a tee, he was extremely patient (which is a great quality to have when dealing with puppies). I'd definitely recommend Dan and hope to use his services in the future!
Dan has been a dream when it comes to caring for my dog. He treats him as if he were his own. He keeps him active and brings a lot of fun while still making sure our pup is following the rules and expectations we have for him. He is responsible, trust worthy, and so loving toward animals. Dan was meant to work with animals!
Dan is absolutely wonderful with dogs. We had him walk our high energy two-year-old shepherd mix, and he did a great job finding fun places for her to explore and tiring her out (he sent us a couple photos of our very happy dog). He took the time to sit and play with her afterwards to make sure she was settled and cooled down before he left, and he was conscientious of our home. Would definitely recommend Dan as someone to care for your dogs. He has a lot of experience with high energy young dogs and persnickety old dogs - and seems to love them all equally.

Schedule
I am currently working part-time as a theatre teacher. My teaching hours are 9-3 on Tuesdays and 11-3 on Thursdays/Fridays. I do theatre and improv most weekends in the evenings. Otherwise I am very available!
