I am an early bird who gets up around 7/8 every morning. I really enjoy cooking and get so much pleasure out of making my own dog homemade meals as often as possible. She gets fresh scrambled eggs every other morning, and I include blended eggshells into everything she eats, her favorite meal being salmon patties. I would absolutely LOVE to make your pup a homemade meal to eat and have enough for leftovers, with Mom or Dad's permission, of course. I am currently a college student at Georgia State University and I am 100% online and work from home. I find that waking up early allows me to have enough time in the day to get my schoolwork done so that I have the time to take the dogs outside to get active. I am a firm believer that fresh air, a fulfilling diet, and constant physical activity is what ensures the longevity of our animals lives. I believe that if my dog is healthy all around (physically, mentally, and emotionally), then I am too. I believe that my lifestyle is extremely accommodating to dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities.

While I do not have a yard like the majority of Sitter's on this app, there is a fenced in dog park in my neighborhood that I take my dog to at least twice a day, every single day. In addition, I never walk any dog for less then 15-20 minutes since I do not have a yard. Like I mentioned earlier, physical activity is one of the most crucial elements to maintain our, and our pets health, and I am aware that my lack of space makes physical activity harder to maintain. Because of this, I take my dog to all different types of walking trails and fenced in parks so that she can stretch her legs and run as much as she wants. Dogs are oblivious to the dangers that are around them so I ensure that I never leave the house without a leash and an Apple Airtag to attach to my dog's harness. Since they are so unaware of the things that are going on around them, I make sure that I never walk with earbuds in so that I can hear any oncoming cars or bikes. They cannot protect themselves the way we can protect them.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors that I may need to account for. If your dog prefers humans and does not get along well with other dogs, please let me know so that I can ensure that my dog is with my partner and out of my apartment. I understand that there are just some antisocial dogs and this is not an issue for me at all. If your dog needs any oral medications or is on a strict feeding schedule, this is not an issue for me either. Also please let me know if your dog has any food allergies! I love to make homemade meals and treats for my pups that we would love to share!
A typical day
In my opinion, the dog park is, hands-down, the happiest place on Earth. My favorite dog park in the area that I go to every other day, is the Wiggley Field Park. I enjoy this park because there are 3 different fields to choose from. They also include a section where you can separate your pack from the rest of the families that brought their dog to play. I love this feature because not every dog is social or particularly enjoys being around a lot of dogs at once, it can get overwhelming for them and this section of the park ensures their comfortably. In addition to going to the park, I am really fascinated by dog training. I think its super cool to see how fast and how much a dog can learn. While I am in no way a professional, I think I have a way to get pups to learn some pretty cool tricks. My dog, Cheese Louise, knows how to sit, stay, lay, shake (she'll even switch paws depending on which hand you put out), roll over, and how to jump into my arms on command. This is only a fraction of the things that I want to teach her.

Hey there, I’m Damica! I am so excited to meet all of you and your babies and build a lasting relationship. Allow me to introduce myself! Ever since I was a little girl I have grown up and felt comfortable with so many different types of dogs. My neighbors always knew me to be the girl that was constantly playing with her pups in the front yard (ours was fenced in). Not only that, but I would go door to door asking my neighbors to play with their dogs if they had any, rather than the children my own age. I currently have a 1 year old German Shepard/ Lab mix named Cheese Louise (the one in my profile picture) and she absolutely LOVES to meet new people and pups. I have also lived with and taken care of my brother's 4 year old husky named, Ena, who definitely lives up to the stories of huskies we all have heard of. I love dogs so much that I even got a tribute tattoo of my first ever dog named Lilly Bean, she was a 5 year old Pitbull Mix with the cutest little black spot around her eye, she kind of looked like the Target dog. Lilly Bean showed me that my purpose in this life is to show dogs what it feels like to be loved unconditionally, and there is nothing in this world that brings me as much joy as dogs do. I have worked at a Doggy Daycare and Boarding Kennel "Rex and Roxy's" where I alone would watch and feed at least 20 dogs at a time. It was honestly the best year of my life, I am not kidding. It was so fulfilling to go to work everyday and see all of the different faces and wagging tails. My employers even told me that I was the only employee who memorized every single dogs name within my first two days of working. I memorized their names so quickly because I understand the importance of taking care of a living animal and how important those babies were to their family, and I wanted to be as attentive as possible to each and every furry face. During my time at Rex and Roxy's I would also administer any oral medications and vaccinations, as well as providing baths when need be. I am not a trained groomer and do not know how to give a dog a new stylish 'do, but I would love to give your baby and bath and send them home smelling yummy.

We loved Damica! She was so good with our fur babies and sent lots of updates with pictures! We were worried that our babies wouldn't do well with us gone (anxiety) but she made them feel safe and they seem to really like both her and her dog, Cheese. We would highly recommend her to anyone. We give her five HUGE stars!

I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful Damica is! She took excellent care of our Nori and kept us updated with photos and videos. We will definitely be hiring her again and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, caring dog sitter!
