I am currently a student and am looking for something to make money on the side. I love animals and especially love cats. I am currently living with two cats who are not very sociable when it comes to other animals which is why I would prefer to care your pets in their home environments without the added stress of socializing with two anti-social cats. I am free for house-sitting overnights and the weekends. I have very few classes this semester so we can work out what times and days work best when you reach out for services.

I am only looking to care for your pets in their own homes. I will give your pet lots of affection however I am still able to be stern when it comes to dogs misbehaving. I can take your dog on walks and crate them if needed. I am good with a leash and am confident at handling pets on walks, big dogs too. I can clean up after them, whatever end it comes out I can manage with the right tools. If you give me proper instructions and a schedule, I can provide your pet with necessary oral medication and treatment, and if you are willing to give me the training, I can give injections as well. I can also give myself treatment when it comes to cat scratches and bites as I am well versed, as long as your cat is free of all the bad stuff.

Any medications or physical impairments your pet may have is very important to know before we book. I haven’t ever done injections on a pet before so if you are not willing to show me how then I suggest oral medication substitution if able.
A typical day
I enjoy playing fetch with dogs at the park, in the backyard, or even inside the home. I can take dogs on runs if they are more high energy as well. If your dog is trained to obey fun commands such as roll over or shake, I can stimulate them intellectually by interacting with those. Playing with cats is also a joy of mine. Any toys (even the crumpled paper ball) is a fun activity for both your cat and I. Just tell me about what they like to do and I’ll do it with them.

Pet care experience
I have had two dogs for 16 years. They were both lab mixes, about medium sized dogs. While they were alive, I would walk them three times a week, make sure they had food and water in their bowls, let them outside in my backyard to play and potty, and clean up after them. I have dog-sit for many of my family and family friends. During overnight stays, most times the dogs would come up to cuddle and sleep with me while I chilled on the couch or bed.

Damian was a great sitter for our two kitties, Lizzie and Mei Mei. He stayed at our house for 10 days and was very responsive, providing daily check ins, as well as extremely punctual and professional. We will definitely be reaching out to him next time we need cat sitting! The cats were comfortable and so happy when we got back.
This was our first time hiring a house sitter. Damian was on time and took good care of our two male cats for 9 days. No issues with the house and the boys seemed content when we got home. Even our shy cat warmed up to him within minutes of him coming into the house during the interview process. I would recommend him.
Damian was a very good house sitter and great with our kitty Emi who is diabetic.
