I have been around animals all my life and have been called upon by friends and family to look after their fur babies while they've been away. Including leash training and recall. Dogs have been apart of my family since I was young, I have taken care of multiple breeds of dogs ranging in all sizes and temperaments. I have a passion for animals and the outdoors that influences my way of life greatly. I look forward to building a relationship with you and your fur baby.

Dalton and Mel took excellent care of our yorkie for an overnight stay. Their dog Molly was also a sweetheart and the two dogs were best of friends when I picked him up. As a nervous dog-mama, I was so grateful for the frequent updates and photos that Dalton sent me, and felt confident my little guy was getting lots of exercise and the best of care. I would definitely recommend Dalton for your pet sitting needs and plan to use him again.

Schedule
I currently work from home with a flexible schedule and my partner works half days which allows us to look after your pets from home as well as come and go as we please so drop-ins and walks are no issue.

I do have a large yard and am located in a calm neighbourhood with a lot of trails for nice walks. We have repeat clients monthly so our spots do book quickly so don’t hesitate and book now!
Pets
A typical day
We always start with a few minutes of just being in your dog's space letting them smell and understand the new person in their environment, and then getting ready for the walk we ensure your dog is secure in their lead and calm prior to leaving the house of course reinforcing this behavior with treats. Play time is important but only after the walk unless we have the okay where off-leash dog parks are allowed. We always like to take lots of photos and give great scratches and cuddles. Building an informed relationship with your dog is the most important part so designing a system that fits your dog's needs as well as your own is our top priority.
