We have a completely fenced in yard. The gates also have wire mesh on them so smaller dogs cannot get out. The gates are also padlocked so no one can accidentally leave the gate open.

Information Dalila A. would like to know about your pet
Policies and Procedures: • Dogs 20 lbs or less. • Must have a meet-n-greet first to see everyone is compatible and to not overly shock your doggie by being dropped off in a new place with you leaving right away. • Males must be neutured. • Vaccinations should be up to date (and must bring proof). • Should be wearing tags, be microchipped, and wearing a snug harness or collar that will not slide off. • Non-aggressive dogs. I need to know their age and if they have any medical needs. I can administer medications, but cannot administer IV fluids. Also I can refrigerate their food if you usually make their food. Also let me know as much information as you can about your fur-baby.
A typical day
As I only watch small older dogs, I don't offer very high energy or taxing activities. Our dogs love playing with other dogs and they may all run around the yard if they wish, if it's not too hot. I will also be accepting a very limited number of dogs, so you need not worry about your fur baby being overwhelmed or not getting enough attention. Also I don't crate dogs (unless you ask me to and they are used to it). They are always allowed on the furniture and bed.

Cozy Oasis for Small Older Dogs!
Pet care experience
We have recently moved to Las Cruces from San Francisco where I did home dog boarding for 7 years. Check out all the pictures of the doggies I took care of in the photo section! The first few photos are from Las Cruces, and the numerous other photos are from San Francisco. I've taken care of dogs since I was a child and as an adult. I also completed a Dog First-Aid/CPR course. I specialize in small dog care, and would love to take care of your dog! I provide overnight boarding and doggy daycare in my home. The daycare hours would be between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. I only take small dogs under 20 lbs, and over 3 years old. We have 3 little dogs who are seniors and we are also older, and keeping up with a puppy would be a bit of a strain! I have always loved animals and have had dogs (as well as cats, birds, and chickens) most of my life. Presently we have 3 small dogs; 2 Chihuahua mixes and a Corgi mix, as well as a Goffin Cockatoo. I take loving care of your companion in our comfy home. You will receive regular pictures, videos, and text message updates of your doggy, so you will feel reassured that your pup is happy and having a good time. Policies and Procedures: • Dogs 20 lbs or less. • Must be spayed or neutured. • Fill out a questionnaire about your dog. • Vaccinations should be up to date (and have proof). • Should be wearing tags, and a snug harness or collar that will not slide off. • Non-aggressive dogs. I have had a home dog boarding business for 7 years before moving here. I am home full time, so your pup will have my full attention. We have a fully fenced in back yard and I always go out with the dogs when they are in the yard. They are also never left out in the heat and I always keep an eye on them. There is a barrier in the hallway by the front door, so the dogs can't run out when the front door is opened. I am extremely careful about keeping them safe. At mealtime I separate the dogs while eating so no fights can break out.
Reviews

Our little guy loved staying with Dalila. Great communication before and during the stay, and her love for the dogs is obvious. Highly recommended.

Delila is just delightful. When we arrive Hugo wants to jump out of the car and run her front door.

Dalila was did such a great job taking care of our senior dog. This was our first time leaving Pepper with anyone outside of family for such an extended stay and Dalila kept our nerves at bay. She sent us many updates, pictures, and videos over the booking. Because Pepper is older, she has many medications and specific feeding schedules which Dalila did a great job adhering too. We so appreciate the amount of care she gave our dog.

Dalila has been a wonderful, supportive dog sitter for my Maltese, Ella. She has been incredibly responsive even sending pictures and videos to keep us in the loop. Ella and I both give Dalila an enthusiastic 10/10! Thank you so very much 😊
