I am excited to become a member of the Rover, driven by my genuine love for dogs and extensive experience in caring for them. Please note that I have a fairly spacious appartment with a balcony (NOT A FENCED YARD) and live near countless parks and dog parks at a walking distance. Throughout my life, I have been surrounded by dogs, each one teaching me the importance of patience, responsibility, and compassion. I have had the pleasure of caring for various breeds, each with their unique needs and personalities, which has equipped me with the skills to handle a wide range of canine behaviors. Whether it’s taking energetic pups for long walks, ensuring a consistent feeding schedule, or providing gentle care for older dogs, I am committed to treating each dog with the same level of attention and affection that I would give my own. My experience also includes administering medication, and creating a safe, stress-free environment for dogs in my care. I understand that every dog is different, and I am eager to tailor my care to meet the specific needs of each furry friend I look after.

I left my dog with Dalia for two weeks, and it went wonderfully well! She sent regular news and pictures, my dog looked very happy and spoiled in her home. She was also very accomodating and understanding as we had to change the dates of pick up due to flight cancellations and delays.... Thank you Dalia!
This is our first time to use this app and super lucky to found such a sweet girl Dalia . Delia was amazing with my old lady dog Lola, from the beginning she showed so much care and adapted her home for my dog needs. I am very greatful for her care. Lola is 15 years old and I worry a lot whenever someone takes care of her. With Delia I was able to relax since from the beginning she showed me she knows how to take care of dogs, and I felt I trusted her, which is something I really value.

My work schedule leaves me with plenty of free time, making it easy to incorporate regular walks, playtime, and cuddle sessions into my day. Whether it’s during breaks or after work, I’m able to provide consistent care and ensure that each pet feels loved and engaged. My flexible routine means I can adapt to the specific needs of each pet, ensuring they have a happy and comfortable experience.

If I'm watching pets in my home, I ensure that the space is pet-proofed and welcoming, with designated areas for sleeping, eating, and playing. I maintain a clean and organized environment, providing fresh water and nutritious food according to the pet’s usual schedule. I also make sure they have plenty of toys and activities to keep them entertained throughout their stay. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I follow a similar approach, respecting the routines and rules that the pet is accustomed to. I ensure that the pet's needs are met promptly, including feeding, walking, and playtime. I am diligent in maintaining the cleanliness of the home, including cleaning up after the pet and ensuring their space is tidy. I also take the time to update clients regularly with pictures and messages, so they can have peace of mind knowing their pet is in good hands. My goal is to provide a seamless experience where the pet feels comfortable, secure, and well-cared-for in any environment.
A typical day
When watching pets, I love to engage them in a variety of fun and stimulating activities tailored to their energy levels and preferences. For high-energy dogs, I enjoy taking them on adventurous walks in nearby parks or nature trails, where they can explore new scents and enjoy the outdoors. I also like to incorporate playtime with their favorite toys, such as fetch, tug-of-war, or interactive puzzle games that challenge their minds and keep them engaged. For dogs that prefer a more relaxed pace, I offer gentle strolls and cuddle time, ensuring they feel comforted and loved. I’m also a big fan of teaching or reinforcing basic commands and tricks, making learning fun and rewarding for the dog. My goal is to ensure that every dog I watch not only feels happy and loved but also returns home tired and content after a day full of fun and enriching activities.
