When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining the pet’s normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their owner is away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, exercise, and any special care needs. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and companionship based on their personality and comfort level. I also prioritize keeping the home clean and secure by refreshing water bowls, cleaning litter boxes or pet areas, picking up after walks, and ensuring doors, gates, and crates are properly secured at all times. I pay close attention to pets’ behavior and well-being so I can quickly notice any changes or concerns. Communication is very important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos to help clients feel reassured while they are away. My goal is to make pets feel as relaxed and cared for as possible in their familiar environment while giving owners peace of mind that their pets and home are being treated with respect and care.
