Hi, I’m Dakota — a lifelong cat lover with a gentle, intuitive approach. I’ve had cats since I was a kid, and last year I said goodbye to my own sweet girl of 10 years. Caring for her through all stages of life taught me so much about patience, comfort, and really listening to a cat’s needs — whether that’s space, affection, or quiet companionship. I offer drop-ins, house sitting, and daily care with a calm, nurturing presence. I’m experienced with shy cats, affectionate cuddle-bugs, seniors, and cats with unique personalities or routines. I’m happy to handle feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, medications (if needed), playtime, and of course, plenty of soft attention on their terms. I work from home, so I can spend extra time with your kitty, keep their space feeling peaceful, and send lots of photos and updates so you always know they’re safe and loved. Your cat will be cared for with the same tenderness and respect I gave my own. 💛

Dakota has been a wonderful addition to our family while vacationing here in Florida. She presents with calm energy and my dogs warmed up to her immediately. She is prompt and communicates effectively. We feel so fortunate to have found her and highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.
Dakota has taken care of our two pups on multiple occasions. One of them is a little testy, and doesn't get along with other dogs well. Dakota had no issue handling him and making sure he felt safe and cared for while we traveled. Highly recommend Dakota for your pet sitting!

Schedule
I work from home, which means my schedule is very flexible. I can adjust to your pet’s routine — early mornings, midday visits, evening walks, or late-night check-ins. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to offer consistent attention, quick responses, and plenty of time for walks, play, or cuddles. Whether you need last-minute help, regular weekly visits, or someone who can spend extra time keeping your pet company, I’m happy to make it work. Your pet’s comfort and routine always come first.
