I have extensive experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including my own pets as well as those belonging to neighbors, friends, and family. I’ve been providing pet care for as long as I can remember and have worked with animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, and more. In addition to personal pet care, I previously worked at a doggy daycare, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I am comfortable with all aspects of pet care, including walking, feeding, bathing, enrichment activities, and administering medications. I also have experience supporting elderly pets and those requiring special care. I’m dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and attentive care to every animal in my care. If you have any specific needs or routines, I’m more than happy to accommodate them.

Dakota was kind enough to come check on my cat last minute and was very communicative with me! I am confident that her complete focus was on my cat during her visits and she gave him the attention he needed. She took so many great photos and made me feel a lot better knowing he was being well taken care of while we were away. As long as Dakota is available, she will always be my first choice to check on my cat!

Dakota was amazing! I had to find a sitter at the last minute for my two pugs, because I was going out of town, The same day I inquired for dog sitting services. That same day I inquired for her sitting services, she asked to meet me later that day, so she could meet my dogs and come to my home where she she would taking care of them at. She immediately connected with us. It is hard to immediately trust someone you just met and have them in your home when you are not. She made me feel comfortable, one of ky children met her at the last minute when we were leaving and she liked her. Dakota is trustworthy, commutative, and dependable. These qualities are very important when you are out of town and someone is taking care of your pets in your home and you are not there. I will use Dakota every time I need assistance with my dogs. DaKota has watched my fur babies several times in the past year. She is very good with them and you can tell they love her. I’m open to caring for pets in my home; however, because I have a dog of my own, I may not be able to accommodate every pet. For the safety and comfort of all animals involved, I require a meet-and-greet beforehand to ensure compatibility. If I’m caring for your pet in your home instead, I will follow your routines and instructions closely to provide consistent, reliable care that keeps your pet comfortable and stress-free.

When I'm taking care of someone else's fur babies, I always prioritize their comfort and preferences. Every pet is unique, so I tailor my approach to each one. For walks, I seek out familiar spots or interesting landmarks that other pets have enjoyed. I love engaging in activities like fetch, playing with their toys, or even a fun game of chase—whatever makes them happy and keeps them entertained.
