We are a military family that is new to the area so when we booked Disney we knew we needed a pet sitter! We feel so lucky that we found Dakota! She was great with our puppy and sent us pictures and updates every day! We would definitely recommend her!

Dakota is the most loving, communicative, and adventurous sitter on the planet. She has dog sat for me multiple times, and will forever do so. I have a big softy blue nose pitbull that loves his aunty Dakota. He has stayed with her for over a month and my mom heart was more then at peace. Atlas was treated like a king, and refused to come home. He went on numerous of adventures, had tons of play time, and unlimited cuddles. He did not want to come back home. If you are looking for a trustworthy sitter Dakota is your gal!

My dog is typically uncomfortable around new people and in unfamiliar environments, but Dakota was incredibly patient and understanding, allowing my dog the time she needed to feel at ease. Dakota treated her with the same care and affection as if she were her own dog. My dog is also very sensitive to fireworks, and Dakota thoughtfully came up with a solution by placing tennis balls in the dryer to create white noise, which helped keep her calm throughout the night. Throughout the week, I received regular updates and photos, which I greatly appreciated and found very reassuring. Dakota provided exceptional care, and I would not hesitate to use her services again in the future.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I currently work full time and my hours do fluctuate for when I get off. With that said I do have the flexibility to check in during the day to either administer medication or take your dog on a walk.

Safety, trust & environment

In home care including a wide open first level to set up a bed or crate / home base for your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard but my neighboring townhomes share a good sized back yard with trees and squirrels to chase.

A typical day

In the morning I’d take your dog on a short, or long walk pending on your dogs needs, feed them and ensure they are set to me to go to work. If that includes crate or any other special requests, those will be met. During my lunch break I’d come home for a half hour to take your dog on a walk. In the afternoon I’d follow the same routine for lunch, go on a walk, feed, and likely hang out on the couch. If your dog isn’t allowed on the couch or upstairs in your home I’ll follow the same routine and rules to ensure im not teaching them and bed habits.

If your dog has any special needs, please let me know prior to drop of so we can both ensure the level of care needed can be met if not surpass expectations.
