Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my #1 priority whether its your dog or mine. I take away toys and bulky sticks if I leave the house so they dont choke on things by accident. I have a crate in case I dog sit a nervous dog so it can relax and get much needed rest in between walks. I am also big into training and reading dogs body language to avoid conflict. If the dog we are sitting is nervous around other dogs, then I make sure we skip socializing with other dogs and focus on training to help build confidence

I always adjust to whatever care your dog might require whether its a full energy puppy or a senior taking their time on shorter walks...
A typical day
We are early risers, our day starts at 5.30am, first walk is about 1 hour, then we get breakfast and mandatory rest to digest food, then we go in search of new trails for a hike in nature. Usually after all the morning activities the pups get to rest for a few hours as it is important for their recovery. After work we have doggy playdates with my neighbor friends, or we go back to the nature parks. We swim a lot in the summer

Pet care experience
I am a dog lover looking for extra income. I live by myself with my dog. He is a service dog and we do everything together. I grew up with 2 rotties and a boxer so i am very comfortable with larger dog breeds. We hike every single day about 5 miles a day, so we do lead very active lifestyle. If your pet needs senior care, we will adjust. We've been dog sitting for the last 6 years and just now decided to join Rover for extra income. I work for myself, so I make my own schedule and have time to care for your dog as well. Everyone is allowed on furniture and my bed.

Reviews
Daiva is a responsible and caring pet sitter for your pet. She kept me up to date on my dog's daily activity and sent daily photos to keep me in the loop. My dog returned to me healthy and happy and without any issues. I highly recommend her.

This was by far the best experience we’ve had using Rover. Daiva was amazingly attentive and interactive with our Stella. She took her on hikes and even swimming. I’m glad we have piece of mind when we come and visit our son again in the future.

Daiva is amazing! I was impressed by the amount of love and professional care shown towards my dog. Quick to respond to texts and is flexible with schedules. Also is very good with sending updates/photos/videos. Thank you Daiva, will definitely be rebooking in the future!
Daiva is the best. Snoopy was given the best of care and came home happy and energetic. She took the best care of him and kept me informed of their walks and how he was doing throughout the day. Just great support.
