Having grown up in the countryside with springer spaniels, I appreciate the importance of dogs getting lots of walks and masses of cuddles. My husband and I have a lovely big home in Shepherd's Bush with a lawned garden, and we're a short walk from Ravenscourt Park and an even shorter walk from Wormholt Park. We have a car and love to drive up to Wormwood Scrubs, Chiswick Park or Gunnersbury Park for a scamper every now and then. We both work from home (part time) so your dog would be kept company throughout the day. We like to spend our free weekends in Gloucestershire where my in-laws have a border terrier, and two other adorable mongrels, whereas my father has a beautifully behaved springer spaniel - so we have extensive experience with our own dogs as well as those that we have looked after.
