I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have cared for dogs for quite some time now and have assisted with their training as well. I just recently lost my own dog, Stella, whom I rescued from the SPCA in San Francisco. I have trained her to be an emotional support animal, and she successfully passed her Canine Good Citizen test. I am very athletic and take the dogs I take care of on walks quite often (and sometimes run!). My home has an unfenced backyard tucked behind the house with a relatively large patch of grass. I am also right next to Meridian Park. I also work from home, so I can be with the dog all day. I am very flexible with scheduling. My communication with dogs is all about positive reinforcement. I do not believe in punishment but rather reward when something is done right.
