I apologize for the bad pun, but I could not resist. My mom is a vet and a farmer so I grew up surrounded by a delightful cast of charismatic animal characters. Cats,dogs, cows, turkeys, bunnies,bees, fish...I had a fun story with each of them. They were my secondary siblings. Each taught me something new and shaped my world view in a special way. In this fast paced modern world, I believe the best way to reconnect with our authentic selves is by spending time with animals in nature. This is why I love to practice animal photography as a creative and theraputic outlet. I am so excited to put these life long skills to good use by helping you care for your animal companions.

Incredibly grateful for the wonderful care Daisy provided to our three kitties during an emergency three-week trip out of the country. Came home to three happy healthy kitties and a clean and orderly apartment. Our cats were sooooo much happier with the extended time and care they received with Daisy than the drop-in brief catsitting visits we've paid for in the past. Daisy communicated with us regularly and transparently, sent plenty of photos, and any concerns she had we were able to address in a timely fashion. She put in the time to get to know the cats and they bonded well with her and were very happy in their care and we felt secure in the knowledge they were getting plenty of love and attention. Will not hesitate to rehire Daisy. Thank you again!
We can’t recommend Daisy highly enough! She looked after our cat, Bruce, and our dog, Stella, for two weeks while we were traveling over seas, and she was absolutely wonderful. From the start, Daisy made us feel completely at ease. It was clear she genuinely loves animals, and she took the time to get to know both Bruce and Stella and make them feel comfortable in her home. Throughout our trip, she kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were so far away. The biggest compliment we can give is that when we picked them up, both Bruce and Stella were happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. It was obvious they had received lots of attention, affection, and excellent care. Daisy is kind, reliable, communicative, and truly goes above and beyond. We trusted her completely, and we would not hesitate to leave Bruce and Stella with her again. If you’re looking for someone to care for your pets as though they were her own, Daisy is the perfect choice. Thank you, Daisy!

Returned home to happy pup! Daisy took such good care of Dasher on his first several night stay away from home. She is very calm and confident, and was the perfect energy for our boy!
Daisy is an excellent sitter. She bonded with my cat immediately. She sent me lots of photos and it seems like they were having a good time! She is also a great communicator. Highly recommend booking her.
Daisy is terrific. Very responsible, very responsive. Buddy was in great shape when we returned, and so was our home. (And she has a lovely sense of humour ;-)

Schedule
I currently work from home as a freelancer so my schedule is flexible and can be shaped to whatever your animal companion may need. I am open for boarding services as well as to stay at your home or do drop in if preferred.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a very pet safe home. All dangerous items like plastics, potentially toxic cleaning items and things of that nature are kept in top cupboards, out of reach for any of your furry darlings. I make alot of time to play with pets and keep them engaged and happy during their stay with me. I usually ask clients for their pet's daily schedule so I can keep them in their usual routine and I very good at helping them manage any separation anxiety they may have.
A typical day
I love to engage in high energy activities with pups in my care. We will explore the neighborhood together, play fun games that stimulate them mentally as well as physically. With your permission, I can take them to some of the several safe dog trails this city has to offer. By the end of the day, your dogs tail will be happily wagging nonstop. If you have a cat, I am excellent with them as well.
