Hi I’m Daisy 👋🏼 I’m 30, single, childfree and self-employed. So you guessed it - I have a LOT of time and flexibility to care for all your gorgeous doggos. I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember! I’m that person who says hello to the dog before the human. I absolutely love getting to know their different personalities, whether they’re a tiny lap dog, a big goofy character or somewhere in between. I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience over the years. I’ve had three rescue dogs of my own. My first was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Apricot - a gorgeous gold coat with gold eyes, she was young, playful and needed lots of exercise and stimulation. Sadly, we lost her to leukaemia at a young age. I then had two Jack Russells - Boss and Biba - who were rescued at 11 and lived to 18 and 19, so I’m very comfortable caring for older dogs and adapting to their changing needs. I also had a cat for 13 years, so I’m very used to having animals as part of the family! I regularly do live-in dog sitting for my sister’s two small mixed-breed dogs, usually for 1–2 weeks at a time. I take care of everything while she’s away, including walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles and keeping them company. I’ve also looked after them through more demanding periods, including giving medication and caring for them after operations, so I’m comfortable with dogs who need a little extra attention or care. I also do shorter sits and walks for friends, so I’m used to fitting into different routines and making sure each dog gets the care they’re used to. When I’m doing a live-in sit, I’m also happy to keep the house tidy and take care of little things like putting bins out or watering plants and light cleaning, because I know how much easier it is to have someone genuinely look after everything while you’re away. Most importantly, I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own. I’m happy with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and a big dog definitely isn’t going to scare me! Whether your dog wants a long walk, a game of fetch, constant fuss, a quiet afternoon snoozing or just someone around to make them feel safe, I’ll do my best to give them exactly what they need. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else, especially in your own home, so I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being loved, looked after and given plenty of attention while you’re away, whilst your home and belongings are safe too. 🐾
