Information Daisy B. would like to know about your pet

Important to know if they are nervous or friendly. What special things I should do upon first entering the house for a walk or sit. If overnight stay, it would be great to know their typical routine so that can stay in place. It is also useful to know how they are with other people and pets when out and about so I can be prepared for their usual behaviour. This can be discussed (and more!) in a meet and greet prior to the booking.

A typical day

A typical day with me is a morning walk and wander around with the horses (dog permitting) or a walk round a local park, wildlife area or footpath. On warm days the highest heat portion of the day is spent indoors keeping them cool and entertained! Slow feeding treats/puzzles/toys are a great way to keep a dog content when stuck inside! On other days I will provide as many walks as required and allow playtime with toys, as well as much needed nap times.

Pet care experience

Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I intend to work within an animal based industry when I graduate. I have just graduated with a First class degree at University of Lincoln where I studied Biology. I have recently started a Master of Research course at the Royal Veterinary College, researching animal infections and medicine. I've have had a family dog for 11 years who has taught me incredible amounts. I have done my own research into animal care, handling and training. I have also had experience dog and cat sitting for family and friends. I also have had my own horse for 8 years which I have full responsibility for. I have experience in dog training and care for both senior dogs and puppies. I have work experience within a veterinary practice and have handled all shapes and sizes in dogs. I am confident and caring around dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes and I can't wait to meet all of your furry friends!

Daisy was absolutely brilliant with Bourbon during her dog sitting. She was very attentive to his needs and regularly kept us updated with photos and daily updates of what he’d been up to. Bourbon was very happy to have her company and we would highly recommend her for future dog sitting.

Daisy is a lovely girl who has looked after Teddy very well, especially when he had a poorly tummy. I would be happy to book her again if needed. Thank you Daisy! 😊
