Hello my name is Daishell and I truly love taking care of fur babies! I have extensive experience and deep passion for animal care. I’ve worked with animals for seven years and currently work as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital in East Atlanta. My background in veterinary medicine gives me hands-on expertise in pet health, behavior, and emergency care, allowing me to provide specialized attention—whether it’s administering medication, assisting senior pets, or helping with puppy training. Before moving to Georgia two years ago, I was a trusted pet sitter in my hometown of New York, where I cared for pets of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I pet sit both cats and dogs, ensuring they receive the care, comfort, and attention they need while their owners are away. In addition to pet sitting, I also have experience with dog walking and cat care, making sure pets get the exercise, enrichment, and routine they need to stay happy and healthy. I understand the unique needs of cats, from maintaining a stress-free environment to providing proper feeding, playtime, and litter box care. As a pet owner myself, I have a Yorkie Poo named Benji, and I grew up with a Shih Poo named Chubby, so I truly understand the bond between pets and their families. Whether it’s a playful pup, a senior companion, or a pet with special medical needs, I treat every furry friend as if they were my own!

I can’t recommend Daishell enough! It’s always nerve-wracking leaving my dog behind, but she made it so easy. I got regular updates and photos, and it was clear my pup was having at good time. I returned to a very happy dog. We will definitely be booking her again!

Schedule
As a veterinary assistant, pet care is a major part of my daily and weekly routine. I work at an animal hospital in East Atlanta four days a week, providing hands-on care to pets in need. Outside of work, I offer pet sitting and dog walking services, ensuring that every pet receives the love, attention, and care they deserve. I’m usually available on Tuesdays and weekends, and I can also provide care after 7PM on weekdays. Whether it’s feeding, exercise, medication administration, or companionship, I’m committed to keeping pets happy and healthy!

I provide pet care in both my home and my clients’ homes, ensuring pets feel comfortable and secure in their environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines to minimize stress, including feeding schedules, exercise, medication administration, and playtime. I also provide companionship to help pets feel at ease while their owners are away. For pets in my home, I create a safe and welcoming environment tailored to their needs. This includes a cozy space, plenty of attention, and multiple walks throughout the day, each lasting 30 minutes or more, to ensure they get the exercise and stimulation they need. Whether in my home or a client’s, my goal is always to offer loving, reliable care that keeps pets happy and healthy.

A typical day
When I watch pets, I make sure they have a fun, enriching experience tailored to their personality. For the energetic pups, we’ll go on adventure walks to explore new trails, play fetch, and enjoy agility-style games to burn off some zoomies. For the brainy ones, I’ll incorporate treat puzzles, hide-and-seek, and trick training to keep them mentally stimulated. If they love affection, we’ll have cuddle sessions while watching dog-friendly TV or a relaxing spa day with gentle brushing and paw massages. Of course, pet parents will get plenty of adorable photo updates with funny captions to capture all the fun. Whether it’s playtime, training, or relaxation, I’ll make sure every pet feels happy, safe, and loved!
