Fur mom with a lot of love to give
When I started to do petsitting, I knew it was for me because I could share my love of animals. I have had pets all my life since I was 5 years old, with 2 cats and 7 dogs growing up! I started babysitting because I feel like animals they should be cared for just as well as a human is cared for. I have a pretty flexible schedule with lots of free time as an online college student, and I also have a fun crochet/knitting skill and I make homemade cat toys and knitted dog clothes. With every booking, my goal is that you can expect a knitted item for your pet as a thank you for trusting me with them, because as a pet parent myself, I know it isn’t easy to have someone else watch your baby. Your baby will feel right at home around me, and my biggest goal is to make them feel as comfortable, happy, and safe as possible. If your baby has any special needs or medications, I can meet those needs for them. I can follow any diet and routine you give me for your pet, no routine is too much! Even If you feed your pet a cooked meal diet, I can cook fresh meals as well such brown rice, puree’d carrots/food, boiled chicken, you name it. Daisha energy is so amazing. My dog took to her instantly, which made me leaving her in Daisha’s care easy. She sent me pictures and gave updates about Lennox’s feedings and walks. When I picked up my dog she was happy and most importantly she was remained safe. I absolutely will be rebooking!

Daisha is an amazing sitter who is responsive, sweet, reliable, and just perfect for my puppy Harry. Pick up and drop off times are flexible and suit my ever-changing schedule since I work shift hours. She even made him a cute crochet hat! Thank you for caring for him as if he is your own. Safety, trust & environment
I will first let them come to me to sniff me and get to know me slowly. I will respect their boundaries and let them decide when they are comfortable to come to me, and I’ll definitely accept any pointers from parents on how to gain their trust, whether it’s with treats or their favorite wand toy, or catnip! Since I crochet with yarn, I also find that lots of cats are drawn to it as well and it makes them more comfortable around me to be playful.
Pets
A typical day
I am a pet parent myself, so I would treat your pets as though they were my own. I would follow the schedule you give me as far as feeding, training, or walks I would take time for them to get comfortable with me and give lots of cuddles and affection. If it’s alright with you, I would crochet while chilling with them, which I find that most cats really enjoy because they like to play with the yarn. I like to find nice areas with grass that are nearby during walks. I promise that they will be 100% safe with me!
