Family, Fun, and Dogs 🐶
Since I was a kid, I’ve never felt like our family was complete unless there was a dog apart of it. Our dogs are members of our family, but they can’t go everywhere we do. It’s never easy to leave them, but when they are in good hands, we feel much better. That’s why we’re on Rover. We want you and your dog(s) to have peace when you can’t be together. We’ll care for yours the way we want other’s to care for ours. Our dogs are early risers. They need their morning meals and exercise before work. However, my job is flexible and I do not have mandatory hours. I can work from home when needed and go on walks, hit the trails, or bbq in my backyard. We love walks in the cooler evenings and it’s always a family affair. After the evening activities, dinner is served and one more bathroom trip while everyone starts concluding their day. My dogs are apart of our family routine which varies every season. But for them specifically, they eat twice a day, and then are put outside for exercise in our fenced-in backyard. They have their own toys, (and wild rabbits) they can play with (chase). If we must go, they are typically brought in, especially in the hot summer months. They have their own space to rest and cool off. If we are gone for extended time they get the garage to themselves for more room to play and move. One of our dogs is typically crated.

Absolutely wonderful
Ashley and Daine took great care of Cooper. Ashley listened to me ramble when I dropped him off and picked him up, kept a close eye on my escape artist and her children were very sweet and welcoming! I do not travel a lot, however next time I do, I will be booking with Daine and Ashley again!
Great people!! Very communicative, ensured my puppy was entertained, & taken care of the entire time. Even took him on a walk. Thank you both so much!!

Schedule
My husband and I work, but never at the same time. Since we are both approved by Rover, we can always guarantee a capable sitter no matter the situation. If we must step out, it's typically to eat or go to church, and we are never gone more than a couple hours.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced in back yard with plenty of shade. We treat our yard regularly so we don't have to worry about ticks and fleas. Every year we overseed our yard to make sure our pups have plenty of soft grass to roll around in while they cool off or soak up the sun. Indoors, our pups are free to roam, but they have their own space in our climate controlled garage. Cool floor, plenty of play space, and a quiet place to take a nap or just get away from our three little kids, who also roam free 😁.
Pets
A typical day
Our dogs are always playful and love new playmates. And since we are a trekkie family we do like hiking. We have our favorite trails nearby, but typically, we use our neighborhood for quick walks. We know our neighbors and the environment well.
