I began taking on house/pet-sitting jobs for family and family friends at age 15. At 16, I expanded my experience by taking on jobs for other clients after starting a boarding position at Suttons Bay Animal Hospital. After approximately one year in that position, I advanced to an assistant role, gaining additional hands-on experience in animal care and veterinary services. Now, at 18, I am planning to begin online coursework this fall to pursue my goal of becoming a licensed veterinary technician.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide pet care in my clients’ homes rather than my own home. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of a safe and comfortable environment for pets. I am experienced with dogs of different needs and can provide walks, outdoor time, feeding, companionship, and other care as needed. I am also comfortable with crate-trained dogs and will follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions you provide.

Schedule
I work full-time at Suttons Bay Animal Hospital, typically working three to four 10-hour shifts per week. My weekends are usually fully available, and I have a lunch break around 12:00–1:00 p.m., which allows me to stop by and let pets out during that time. My schedule can vary slightly from week to week, but I’m happy to coordinate in advance to make sure your pets receive the care and attention they need.
