I grew up with multiple family dogs and have been the go-to sitter for friends, neighbors and family for at least six years. I have experience raising and training puppies and caring for elderly dogs who may need mobility assistance. I’m new to this app so I’ve included photos of a few of the dogs I’ve sat for (with my dog when possible so you can see I’m not pulling images off the internet).

Safety, trust & environment
All dogs will have different preferences when experiencing a stranger in their space. A dog who is nervous may need to get used to my smell and my voice so being in the room, calmly talking without putting any pressure on them to engage is usually the safest bet. For a friendly dog, I’m overjoyed to play, give scratches and cuddle but will stay aware of warning body language to avoid causing them any stress or anxiety. Of course it’s important to be respectful of the home as well, just as I’d expect for my own home.

Dhalia was an absolute dream to work with! I was a bit nervous because I had never used a drop in service before but Dhalia’s professionalism and willingness calmed my nerves. I felt safe with her in the AirBnB with all the unexpected dog activity near Biscuit. Biscuit isn’t a cuddler in general and to hear that she felt comfortable enough to hang as such with Dhalia was a testament to how well she was with anxious pets. I LOVED her report card they were so detailed and all the pictures and videos of her wiggly little butt were soooo awesome. If I am ever in the area again with Biscuit I will 💯 will be using her again!
We were very happy with Dahlia. We could tell from her updates, photos, and videos how much she really loved our dog. Dahlia played all of Shadow's favorite games, kept to her schedule, and cuddled with her. I think Shadow might actually be happy the next time our family leaves for a vacation because she enjoyed Dahlia so much!
Dahlia goes above and beyond! Constantly letting us know how and what our dog is up to. We are very grateful to have found her!

Schedule
My schedule is about as flexible as it gets. I can be available any time with the exception of 6:45pm - 10:15pm on Thursday evenings.

- Any important health information or special needs. How they take to strangers and any tricks you know that might make them more comfortable (favorite treat, perhaps). If there are any behaviors I should keep an eye out for and any of their preferences so I can ensure they have a great time!
