We hired Daena to look after our cats for three days. Daena arrived on the first day and then informed us she was no longer willing to enter our apartment. She claimed our apartment was unclean and had a bad smell. Our apartment is ‘lived in’ I.e has some loose clothes hanging around. But is not unclean, we have used multiple rover providers before and never received complaints. We were half way to Florida by the time she informed us that she would not be feeding our cats for the next two days. We are not native to Scranton and had to scramble to find an acquaintance who would feed and water our animals for us. The alternative would have been to cancel our trip. This acquaintance confirmed our apartment was sufficiently clean. She also noted that Daena left all lights on and open cat food on the counter. Diana’s behaviour was extremely unprofessional and more importantly endangered the wellbeing of our animals. We do not recommend soliciting her services under any circumstances.
