I think this is something that comes from my family and the culture I grew up in. My father wouldn't even kill an insect that got into the house; he would just throw it out the window bare hand. I was born and raised in Turkey, and I have never seen a country that values and loves cats as much as Turkey does. There hasn't been a single day in Istanbul when I didn't go outside, hug, and feed a cat. I love cats so much, and I miss them, always and non-stop.
