Pet care experience
Animals have been my life-long passion. I have raised indoor pets from cats and dogs to fish, snakes, rabbits, and more - plus larger outdoor pets including goats & horses. I am also a certified Master Gardener and happy to tend to your indoor & outdoor plants. I will leave your home as clean as I found it and restock groceries if you like. Friends have hired me back multiple times because they are pleased with my dependability plus the quality of my care for their pets and property. I have managed animal medications, special needs, and emergencies. I love the outdoors and know how to dress for every kind of weather to keep your pet active and happy. I am honest, mature, friendly, and flexible.

OUTSTANDING pet sitter. I was scared to leave my animals but once I met Cynthia I wasn’t worried at all she took excellent care of them, I also have birds that I asked her to watch and she did amazing with them too. I got updates everyday and she went above and beyond while caring for my entire house. Many extra little things like caring for my plants and even fixed a window screen. I can’t recommend her enough, I want to travel more but was always worried to leave my pets. Now that I’ve met Cynthia I will be traveling a lot more!!! Thanks so much Cynthia i REALLY appreciate it
Cynthia was amazing with my 2 greyhounds. They spent the weekend taking turns snuggling up with her. She was thorough and did a great job communicating with me. I have already booked her again.
Cynthia is TERRIFIC with pets! (And actually, with humans too!) Our dog loves her. He's old and on occasion a tad difficult, but he took to her immediately and his instincts were confirmed by her reliable and consistent care. Can't recommend her highly enough!!
Cynthia has been an excellent sitter for our 15 year old “senior” poodle. He adores her. Cynthia has known him for years and has adjusted her care to his changing needs. We feel worry-free when Cynthia is petting-sitting Vinnie. We know he is happy and well cared for.

I ask questions & write detailed notes about the schedule, duties, expectations, and emergency contacts you have in mind. Let’s avoid misunderstandings and make sure we are a great fit. When I work in your home, you will receive texts of photos & reports as often as you like. Currently I am serving in Maplewood (St Louis city) area. I would consider extended stays in farther areas with compensation for travel - especially near New Haven CT, Naples FL, Carbondale IL, Athens OH, Ft Collins CO, Salt Lake City UT, and Seattle WA.

What sets off your pet into fearful or aggressive behaviors, and how would you prefer that I manage those? How would you like your home, plants, or anything else cared for?
A typical day
I will stick to any schedule your pets are used to with walks, feeding and other care. I am affectionate with animals who invite it and seek to know each pet’s personality and preferences.

Availability
Currently pet sitting is my full time gig so your animals are my top priority. I will spend every night plus at least 50% of every day in your home. I enjoy outdoor romps and indoor snuggles, all depending on what your pet needs. As a courtesy, I do not book another job for the day after you are scheduled to arrive home in case anything arises that delays your return. Life happens.
