Dog Care, Giving Routine & Love

Pet care experience

Some think of their dogs as pets, mine have always been part of the family. I grew up as a child with my late black lab, Ebony, who was one of the most fun-loving family dog their was, even into her old age as I cared for her in her senior years. Then came the spitfires...first Sammy, who is my german shepard with big heart and knack for getting into mischief with the neighborhood squirrels, and then came Jax, the black lab/pit bull mix who is either running in circles or snoozing on a chair. Having grown up with multiple breeds and dog personalities, I've learned how to manage and train dog behaviour as well as recognize how important their routines are, especially when their owners are not around! Outside of my own pups, I'm always the first to volunteer when it comes to dog sitting my friend's pitbull, Taz, when she travels for work, keeping strict routines that help him deal with his mom being away. I also volunteer at the Charleston Animal Society and am a trained dog handler who has come across all sorts of weird dog experiences that I've had to learn and adapt to, all while giving them the most love possible!
