Animal lover at your service!

Hello, My name is Cindy and I've been a dog/cat mom all my life! I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society for 7 years as a dog walker/trainer and worked with puppies and senior dogs. I grew up in Lancaster PA and had a whole pack of dogs, cats, birds, and a horse that I cared for. I’ve always had a deep love for furry friends and spending time with them is one of my greatest pleasures in life! Some personal details about me, I’m a psychology UT grad and in my spare time, I love hiking, dance, and learning to wake surf. I’m also a real estate agent! 🐾 Why Pets Love Staying Here: - Fully fenced 8ft privacy backyard—perfect for zoomies and lounging - Quiet, cozy, dog-safe home with tons of toys and room to relax - I have over 8 years of pet-sitting experience with all sizes, breeds, and temperaments - Former foster with Austin Humane Society I truly care for each animal as if they were my own. If you're looking for a trustworthy sitter with a warm home and lots of experience, I’d love to meet you and your pet! Feel free to reach out with any questions—can’t wait to care for your furry friend! 🐾🐶

Cynthia did a great job. Daisy was happy and well cared for. When we talked when I got home I used your name so she would get used to me talking about you. We will definitely use you again. Thank you soo much for giving me a worry free day!

I highly recommend Cynthia as a dog sitter! She took care of my dog Sunny with such attention and care. Cynthia is incredibly communicative, keeping me updated throughout Sunny's stay with photos and messages, which really put my mind at ease. Her thoughtfulness was evident in the way she anticipated Sunny's needs and preferences, making sure he felt comfortable and loved. It's clear that she has a natural affinity for animals, and Sunny clearly enjoyed his time with her. I wouldn't hesitate to book Cynthia again in the future!

Cynthia is an amazing doggie sitter. Strongly recommend!!! First of all , both my doggies absolutely love her and get incredibly excited to see and spend time with her. The joy in their eyes when they see her says it all. Cynthia provides plenty of one and one care and exercise for each dog. She is a limited provider, who prefers quality time with fewer dogs , rather than quantity. It showsz Strongly recommend Cynthia. I am sure if my little guys could type they would be even more enthusiastic about her work.

Had a last minute birthday trip that Cindy was able to accommodate my pups on short notice. She sent me daily updates and pictures on how they were doing. I’d for sure book again !

Safety, trust & environment

I have a big fenced yard and no animals of my own so lots of attention is dedicated to the pets I care for. I enjoy playing fetch and hanging outside with pups. I also love going out on walks in the neighborhood and hiking in nearby parks so I would love to take along your furry friends within your comfort level. Some parents prefer simply playing in the backyard rather than longer walks. I always keep a close eye and I’m with the dogs when they’re in the backyard. You never can be too careful when it comes to hawks etc.

A typical day

I take pups on morning walks or a jog, depending on their physical abilities. We spend a lot of time in the big yard playing and lounging around. When it’s too hot, we spend more time inside. Doggies can get overheated very easily so I’m very aware of the temperature and making sure they’re hydrated. We take a nice long walk around the quiet neighborhood leading to the greenbelt paths around sunset. Lots of cuddles on the couch at night. Your dog is free to sleep in the bed, on the carpeted floor, or in their kennel, whichever they’re used to. I love to keep dogs and cats busy and entertained with lots of physical and mental activities. I also have a lot of fun working on training. If there’s any behavior you’ve been working on reinforcing or limiting please feel free to let me know!

Tell me about your pup! What does she/he like to do? Crate trained? Do they have any fears? How do they react if another pup is seen out on a walk? The more information you can provide to make your animals happy, the better. Please let me know as much detailed information as possible including their veterinarians info, timing of meals, normal potty times, any triggers for anxiety, and when they usually wake up and go to sleep. Let me know if there’s ever been destructive behavior including furniture, pillows, shoes, cables, etc. I do my best to keep most any chewable things away but every doggy is different.
