I currently am a stay-at-home mom and wife who has a lot of time alone to apply to caring for animals or dogs that need to be walked, play fetch, or cuddled. I can go walk a dog or complete a home visit with short notice because my schedule is pretty open.

Keeping routine and care for animals is important. I take good direction and would care for someone’s animal like they do to keep that routine for the animal as much as possible. Animals are treated like family members in my home and I would like them to feel as comfortable as possible. It is important to get to know the animals I am caring for so that I can recognize what is normal behavior for them and what is not. Daily check-in with the pet owner via text messages, emails, or pictures is a great way to let the pet owner know their fur baby is doing well in my care.

I think it is important to know about the pets that I watch what they like to do, what are their personalities, and what do they not like. I think that a meet and greet before any services are provided is great so that the pet can get to know me before I am caring for them. I love to build rapport with the animals that I am caring for.
A typical day
If the pet that I am watching likes to play fetch or play with toys I can take them in the back yard and play with the toys with them. I like to walk myself because it is relaxing so we could go for walks on some of the nature trails around the area. If I am watching a low energy pet or a senior pet and they like to take it easy I love to snuggle on the couch and just relax as well.

I have had animals all of my life. I love the underdog animals and all of my animals are adopted. I have experience in caring for dogs that have extensive health issues. I also worked as a groomer for PetsMart.

Cindy is absolutely amazing! She is so patient, caring, and skilled with my dog, who can be both reactive and anxious. Cindy takes the time to understand his needs and always handles him with such calm and confidence. I feel completely at ease knowing he’s in her care. Amazing Grateful and loving are just a few words to how our Fur babies were treated while we were away. Could not have ask for better care.
