Due to the nature of my part-time job, I do not know my schedule in advance. Therefore, I need 3 days notice before scheduling your dog for a walk please.

I will walk your dog in your local neighborhood area. We will walk alone, and avoid other dogs in the area (at times this may require moving off the sidewalk, and pausing while someone else passes). In the event a sidewalk is not shaded during summer heat, in order to prevent pad injuries/burns...your dog will be walked on grass/dirt alongside the sidewalk.

Please let me know the best pace, distance , & duration of exercise your dog needs (any physical limitations/concerns and whether your dog becomes overly excited/agitated with certain trigger sounds/sights/smells). Also, please provide dog waste bags and let me know where they should be deposited. During the summer, please provide a portable squeeze water bottle for me to take along during the walk to make sure your pet remains hydrated. Play time is optional if you have a secure backyard, toys, and water available.

I will arrive at your residence to meet you and your dog for a meet & greet initally & for a demo walk & to share expectations and/or goals. Any bookings thereafter, I will walk your dog in your neighborhood or designated area. I can play tug or fetch with them, or just love on them...:)

I am a lifelong equestrian, and dog lover. I served on a search and rescue k9 team for 6 yrs where I worked with high drive German Shepherds, Border Collies, "Dutchies", "Mals", and I grew up with "Dobies", Pugs, and Poodles. I know how important it is for dogs to have "Zoomie" time, or tug, or chase balls....or just a leisure stroll to get blood flowing & clear the cobwebs! I look forward to meeting your precious pooch!

I have known Cynthia for almost 10 years. She was a team member and K9 handler on my search and rescue team in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. We became friends through that association in addition to teammates who have worked together on numerous searches. Cynthia is well versed in handling working line dogs and pet dogs. She owns and has been around all types of animals (horses, cows, sheep, dogs, cats) all her life. I know her to be very professional, caring, responsible, and capable of handling any type of dog in a fair and compassionate manner. She would be able to handle any adverse situaiton or emergency that might arise while a dog is in her care. I have know Cynthia for many years serving on a K9 Search and Rescue team. I have seen up close to the care and concern she gives to all the dogs on the team not just her own. She is a kind and considerate person to not only the dogs but the people as well. She is also very knowledgeable in animal care and behavior.
