Hello all, my name is Cynthia and I’ve been a babysitter/dog sitter for about 7 years. I have graduated from UH so i can be very flexible on time, and enjoy walking and working with pets. I am very responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. I am very athletic so running is no problem and neither are big dogs. I am an animal lover and will work with any dog breed or animal whether it’s a cat, or fish. I am located by 610 North and 45-N. For walking I will typically do 30 minutes to 1 hour but i am willing to do longer times if requested. Typically I avoid walks between the hours of 12-5 during the summer to avoid the extreme temperatures and burning paws but I do like to provide them with mentally stimulating activities as an alternative. Many of which include sniffing, working for their food (hand feeding) playing fetch and finding activities to build their confidence if the space and location allow it. For house sitting, I am working at a school and currently my hours are from 7:30-4:30 so you must be okay with me being away for 9 hours a day. please let me know in advance if your pet suffers from anxiety or reactivity so I can prepare appropriately and keep your pet and myself safe. I am also open to meeting prior our first time if needed, to get to know your pet. I strictly follow you and your pets needs. I know how important it is to maintain consistency when it comes to daily habits and the safety of your pets.

Cynthia cared for our cats while we were out of town for a week. She was great with the cats, sent pictures and took care of our home.

Cynthia has been great on two trips over the last few weeks. She stayed at our place to watch our dog, cat, and turtles. She’s taken great care of them and communicated well the whole time. Sometimes with other sitters we’ve come back and our dog seemed pretty unhappy, so we were nervous leaving again… but he seems to be pretty happy now that we’re back. Cynthia also worked with her work schedule so our pup wouldn’t be home alone too long. The house was also very clean when we got back. We will definitely request Cynthia again and would recommend her highly.
Cynthia is an excellent dog sitter! I highly recommend her. Cynthia was very responsive and communicative sending us pictures and updates. She truly cared for our dog Izzy and took her out for regular walks as well as showed her affection. We felt confident leaving our dog and home with Cynthia and hope to be able to use her in the future. Thank you, Cynthia!

Schedule
Im currently working part time, but like stated before I have a very flexible schedule as long as I have at least a 4-5 day notice. I can take them for super long walks if that’s what’s needed and I can also do backyard play.

- Please let me know if I will need to administer any medications. For behaviors, if your dog is reactive towards other dogs let me know as well. It’s extremely important for my safety and the safety of your pet that I know to prepare with treats or giving them space so they remain under their threshold. I also know not all dogs are always friendly so if it’s something you might be concerned with let me know and I can work with you :)
