Lately, I've been specializing in shy/fearful animals. I wear pheromones (the smell mamas make to tell puppies and kittens everything is okay) like a teenage boy wears Axe body spray. I bring special treats and music developed for pets using neuroscience. And we will take things at the pet's pace. I've done some creative things trying to get pets to eat or come back inside. Unless there is a medical or safety need, everything I do is reward-based and force-free.

In addition to trying to replicate their human, I need to know about any behavioral or medical needs. And of course, there are household rules. Are they allowed on the furniture? Can they have treats? But also, what do their people need from me?
A typical day
I see my job as being your substitute so I'll ask what you do with your pet. Do you cuddle on the couch? How do you play in the backyard? Do they like to be sprayed with a super soaker?
