Nurturing Care for Your Fur Baby

I possess a profound passion for nurturing a variety of animals, such as dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. My commitment is to their well-being, ensuring they get adequate nutrition, hydration, regular potty breaks, sufficient exercise, social interaction, and abundant affection. My time as a Junior Zookeeper at the Santa Barbara Zoo in my youth endowed me with vital skills in handling diverse animals and birds. I value the bond with animals, treating them with patience, love, and the highest regard. I understand your unique relationship with your pets and am committed to nurturing that connection in your absence. Under my care, your dog will be welcomed into a comfortable and secure setting. They will relish daily strolls, playtime in a spacious fenced yard, a clean and comfortable sleeping area, timely meals, treats, and any needed medications. They will bask in copious love and attention. I am dedicated to honoring them with the respect and kindness they deserve and recognizing them as valued members of your family. You can be confident that your treasured pet will be well cared for. For my first-time customers only - Use promo code CYNTHL51437 for $20.00 off your first booking!

‏Cynthia was a dog sitter for our 2 dogs, 2 German Shepherds, at our home for about 2 weeks while we were on vacation. We felt very safe with Cynthia from the first moment, she was very nice and warm to us and our dogs, she looked after them both at night and during the day, fed them, took them for walks and made sure that everything was ok with them and that they having fun when we were not there. She updated us on everything and she was simply excellent! We saw that our dogs were happy with her in photos and we could continue our vacation without worry. Thank you very much Cynthia, we would love to have you help us in the future with our dogs again.

Cynthia provided Poncho with outstanding quality care while I was on vacation—the photos were professional and thoughtful. Excellent communication with me. She genuinely cares for my dog, so leaving on vacation is much easier. My dog is happy to see her when she watches him.

I was looking for a new sitter and came across Cynthia - so glad I found her! You can tell she really cares about animals and she’s so kind. She has a spacious yard for the dogs to run around. I really appreciated her picture and video updates. I felt reassured that my dog was in goods hands. I’ll definitely be using Cynthia again in the future!

Schedule

As a full-time animal caretaker, my primary duty is to ensure the well-being and happiness of the animals. I keep an eye on their behavior, supply them with various toys and games, and make certain they receive adequate rest and sleep. Additionally, I regularly take them out for potty breaks and administer their feedings and medications on schedule.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog will enjoy a large, fenced yard for running and playing. They will also have free access to the house and a cozy crate for dining and resting. I maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the toys, beds, and home using veterinary-grade disinfectant to ensure the well-being and safety of all dogs in my care. Because I care deeply about maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for every dog in my care, I will not be accepting raw diets during boarding stays. This decision was not made lightly. I understand many owners choose raw feeding thoughtfully and with great care for their dogs. However, in a multi-dog boarding environment, raw feeding creates additional concerns related to food handling, sanitation, and cross-contamination that I am no longer comfortable managing within the household setting. To maintain the safest and most consistent care environment possible for all dogs in my care, I will now only be accepting: • dry kibble • canned/wet food • freeze-dried or dehydrated foods prepared according to package directions • commercially prepared cooked fresh-food diets I am happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding schedule and routine as closely as possible during their stay. I truly appreciate your understanding.

A typical day

My home is a dog-friendly space that offers both outdoor fun and indoor comfort. Our fenced yard is ideal for playing fetch and tug-of-war, while neighborhood walks give dogs a chance to explore and socialize. With plenty of toys and treats, your dog will stay happily busy. For more reserved or anxious dogs, there's a quiet area where they can relax and feel safe. Plus, my friendly German Shepherd is always ready to make new dog friends, making a great playmate for your energetic guest.
