I've taken care of cats, hamsters, gerbils, and dogs for family and friends since I was young. I wasn't allowed pets growing up, so I made it my mission to be the go-to sitter to get my fill of cuddles, scritches, nose boops, toebean massages, pets, love, and play. I've also volunteered at a pet shelter as a cat socializer and was able to find some loving furever homes for many. I am a compassionate animal lover and will take care of your furbaby like s/he is my own because I know how much they mean to you. I'm also good at taking photos of your pets and I can definitely send you pictures through text while you are away. My schedule is generally pretty flexible. We can always work something out to work with your needs. I do prefer to meet with you and your pet(s) prior to any scheduling, so that we both feel comfortable and get to know one another beforehand. Note on housesitting: My $48 rate only includes the overnight stay. If you require additional dog walking during the day or an extended stay, additional fees will apply. I am available to come to your place to walk or play with your dogs, feed and play with your cats or other animals when you're away or if you're swamped with a long day of work. I can come several times a day if necessary. I can do overnight stays, but am very selective with this option and always require a meet and greet beforehand, normally accompanied by my husband, for safety. I am great at cuddles and am very patient. I realize that some pets are sometimes apprehensive of new people and that's okay, I can work with that. I will never pressure a pet in any way without having built a great connection prior, but I can say that i've never had a pet not eventually love me. I pay close attention to detail and am good at following instructions, so please let me know of anything important beforehand.
