Pet care is part of my everyday routine, and I’m home often throughout the day to provide potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. When I have boarding guests, I adjust my schedule around them so they’re never left for long stretches — their comfort and safety always come first. Whether you’re traveling, handling medical appointments, working long hours, or just need an extra hand, I’m here to help so you can focus on what you need to do without worrying. I keep my calendar updated ahead of time and communicate clearly so you always know what to expect. Every pet becomes part of our little family while they’re with us.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog has their own quiet, cozy retreat connected to our home — close enough for comfort, but separate from the busy areas so they can fully relax and feel safe. The suite is spacious — approximately 11 ft x 14 ft — giving dogs plenty of room to stretch out, move freely, and relax comfortably without feeling confined like a traditional kennel. The room has tile flooring for easy sanitation, a ceiling fan and AC, cozy blankets and mats, a HEPA air filter, and a hurricane-rated exterior door with frosted glass to let in safe natural light. The suite also includes a TV with calming music and nature scenes, along with soft lighting at night to help pups settle comfortably. Pets always have access to fresh, clean spring water — the same water my own dog drinks — to support healthy hydration. Dogs enjoy supervised off-leash time on our fully enclosed lanai, and optional saltwater pool time if approved by the owner. Potty breaks, sniff walks, and sunshine time happen around our 1.15-acre property, including the garden — always on leash outside the lanai since our yard is bordered naturally. Stevie, my friendly Labradoodle, only interacts with visiting pups if owners request it and both dogs are comfortable. There are no children in the home, and I’m always nearby to ensure pets feel secure, understood, and cared for. For walks and drop-in visits, I follow your instructions closely to ensure your pet feels secure and understood while in their own home or neighborhood. Whether you’re traveling, at a medical appointment, busy with work, or out with family, you can count on me for safe, reliable companionship and frequent updates so you always feel connected. Every pet here is treated with love, patience, and the same care I give my own dog. 🐾💛

Information Cynthia K. would like to know about your pet
Please share your pet’s daily routine, special needs, and any medications so I can keep everything consistent and comfortable for them. If your dog has reactivity to other dogs, noises, or new environments, I will take things at their pace and adjust their activities to keep them happy and stress-free. I also appreciate knowing any fears, quirks, or comfort items that help them relax — those little details make a big difference. For boarding, please provide your dog’s regular food and treats so their stomach stays happy and their routine stays familiar. If your dog eats homemade meals, I can warm and prepare them exactly as you do at home, and I have refrigerator space available. You’re welcome to bring anything that feels like home — beds, toys, blankets, and favorite comfort items. I also have a stainless steel water bowl, food bowls, and a large crate available if your dog is crate-trained and you prefer not to bring your own. For safety, I do ask that boarding guests provide up-to-date vaccine information and their veterinarian’s contact details at booking.
A typical day
A typical day here is calm, structured, and centered around your dog’s comfort. Mornings start with a potty break and light activity, followed by breakfast and relaxed downtime indoors. Throughout the day, dogs rotate between rest, supervised outdoor time on the lanai, short sniff walks, and gentle play — all paced to their individual energy level. For day stays, pups follow the same peaceful routine as boarding guests, with plenty of breaks to rest, hydrate, and settle in between activity. This setup works especially well for dogs who prefer a quiet environment rather than busy group daycare. I keep dogs close by throughout the day, offering companionship, reassurance, and attention without overstimulation. Evenings wind down with another outdoor break and cozy indoor time so dogs feel relaxed and settled. Every dog’s day is adjusted to their needs — whether they’re active, senior, shy, or just happiest lounging nearby — and every guest is treated like part of our little family.

1-Family Boarding + Walks & Care
Pet care experience
I know how important pets are to our families — and how stressful it can be to leave them for work, travel, or a busy day. I offer 1-family dog care, focused on calm routines, close supervision, and individualized attention, so your dog feels secure and settled while you’re away. I’ve cared for pets my entire life and have experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, including medication administration, mobility support, and specific feeding routines. I follow your dog’s normal schedule as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and at home. For boarding and private day stays, dogs enjoy a quiet, one-family environment in my home — a peaceful alternative to group boarding or busy daycare settings. I do not mix unfamiliar dogs. Your pup will have indoor rest time with A/C and water, supervised lanai time in full shade, and regular walks and outdoor breaks throughout the day. Private day stays are offered on select weekdays when no overnight guest is present. When I have a boarder, overnight care takes priority so every dog continues to receive my full attention. Whether you need overnight boarding, a calm day stay, walks during a busy workday, or drop-in visits, my goal is always the same: attentive, reliable, one-family care tailored to your dog’s needs.

Reviews

Cynthia was awesome! She got my really shy cat to come out and sniff her. I would highly recommend her!
Happy to recommend Cynthia! She is flexible and reliable and a pleasure to deal with. Such an animal lover and I think my dogs love her more than me! They are very safe and loved when Cynthia comes to visit. I enjoy hiring Cynthia to walk and feed the doges if I'm out for the day and certainly be assured my dogs are under special care if I have to travel. Anyone who hires Cynthia is making a smart choice.
Cynthia helped me with my dog Zoey on very many occasions. She took her for multiple walks a day and I had complete trust in her. I don't trust many people to look after Zoey, but always would ask for help from Cynthia. She loved Zoey and took great care of her. I highly recommend her.
